Still, this is just a(n addictive) game, so I go more with the flow, experimenting here and there without taking anything to heart.

There's a reason I'm not over level 350. Its "this is how many fucks I give".

Considering how valuable forge materials are, very few pieces of equipment are "worth" forging.

I'd love to upgrade some of my equipment. I just don't see the point in doing so because they'll be turned to shit in another update or two.

That's why I choose to cash in on everything except H-G Wood and Binding of Destruction. My staff is only thing I consider "worth it" since it's pretty much untouchable. Even that is a joke since there are WTB H-G Wood offers for as high as 40k each, and I've already used 79, barely scratching the potential for upgrades.

Now I have to create an army of PL400+ monsters to upgrade one equip. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

@hoheneim i don't think it's the level that's important in this case. i wouldn't have recommended *anyone* upgrade that mace regardless of their level/economic status. if you crunch some numbers you'll quickly realize just how expensive it is to do any forging.

using myself as an example, i'm not a heavy forger at all but i've pumped 16 destructions into my staff.

the initial expense was 4mid wood/1low wood (4 times)
then 5 mid wood (10 times)
then 4 mid wood 1 high wood (2 times)

if you look at current market rates that's ~1million credits just in destruction bindings (60k*16) and another ~300k in wood.

so for a "casual" forger like me I spent what could have been 1.3mil on my staff and the only thing i have to show for it is 16 upgrades on my staff? i shudder to think what the number would have been if i had branched to EDB/proficiencies/MAB/int/etc. it's easy to get out of hand since most people don't keep track

Also, isn't this ADB a bit high for a piece of armor of Protection?
