So, while checking my equipment screen, I counted and I have 17 equipment items, and they are ALL "Sapphire." I guess that is some kind of indication of level or rank they were obtained at. If that's the case, I'm wondering when the "Ethereal" items kick in.

I was just thinking about posting the same thing as I noticed all 5 of my items are titanium. I wonder if this means there are limitations on what we can and cant equip once the shops are open??

All generated gear has an inherent "gear level". While this doesn't actually affect the inherent stats of the item, it will be used by the equipment scaling/balancing subsystem to increase gear power with level. And no, you probably won't be able to equip items with a gear level above yours - although it's possible I'll build in a down-scaling to the minimum of the gear level and the character level, seeing as the system easily enables that.

You're looking for equipment in the wrong place if it's from grindfest. I played to round 52 on hard and didn't get any equipment.

By the time I got my mitons (Sic.) it took like 60+ wins between Hourlies, Arena's and grinding with a heap items + credits at the healer

Still having no luck. Hammering the first round of arena on normal, healing at the healer when needed. Hourlies and a blitz through more of the anrea lvls I can do easily alreaddy.
