Internet is very cheap in Russia. I pay about $6 per month for 100mbps.
And it's extremely pointless to pay for VPS just for one site, considering the fact that this site blocks your (mine) IP, not RKN.
Does EH blocks chinese users' IPs? I'm not sure, but i guess no. The Great Chinese Firewall blocks them from visiting some sites. 'due to GFW', not due to EH. As RKN does towards the some sites, but not towards this one. That's the point. And we can't get a clear explanation on that block.
And we can deal with the RKN blocking some sites, but the dealing with some site blocking your country by IP is 'a bit' harder.

2) Most Russians know how to bypass all blocks. I'm using TOR for it, some are using Frigate etc.
3) there was absolutely NO reason to block gallery from Russian users. You don't keep your stuff on our servers, and you are, actually, already blocked in Russia (my ISP sucks)
I don't see any problem to watch galleries even now, but, c'mon - blocking everybody from Russia is a bit overkill, don't you think?

That's an ISP-specific block page and it varies by ISP. EH is different because it blocks the users itself so it just says "This content is not available in Russia."

No difference whatsoever. End result is the same. Everyone in that one country is blocked whether you do it from a national firewall or from a single site.

This site is generous than I am from what I've observed over the past 7 years. The admin is the sort that restricts access only when there is a problem present. They're not what's called an evil admin in industry (you don't want to meet those). I personally do full country denials on my sites such as blocking the entirety of China on my torrent client or blocking Romania, Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and China on my sites, regardless of whether or not the government requests it - mainly due to annoying brute forcers that jump IPs within the country and assholes that keep running automated vulnerability exploit engines.

There is no news about block from roskomnadzor. When they block something it comes to news. Even if it little sites.

And when they block sites, forums blocks too. But i can b on forum even without DNS. But i cant visit gallery even with DNS.

They can't block traffic directly from the site, they can block requests to some sites, so there would not be any traffic from their users. That's another situation.

We can use the proxies, and the main question/problem not in them. The key point is: Why do we have to do efforts? What's the point of that?
Also there is a big difference. Not in result, but in way to pass. If the government blocks a site, they you can easily get round this block by setting up some public proxies, change DNS or whatever. If the site (such as EH) blocks your IP, you can't simply change your DNS or use a proxy. The free proxies doesn't works here, because of traffic limit or smth like that, and you need to pay for a good proxies.
