That's one hell of a far-fetched precaution if you ask me. The site isn't even in the list.

Furthermore, RKN isn't doing anything to the sites themselves, it just issues orders to ISPs to block those sites from the users. One possible exception would be if EH servers were hosted in Russia(like rutracker did some time ago), but that's not the case. No need to block the entire site either - just blocking the images would be enough to comply with RKN's requirements.

Okay, I didn't read the previous posts but I had a sudden realization about this issue and felt the urge to put it in words.

Anyway, I though that maybe the Russia ban would result in some collateral damage that the web host isn't happy about and therefore, to prevent such a thing, a voluntary ban is enacted.

Попробуй залогинившись на форуме зайти на "https://e-hentai.org/news.php" вместо "https://e-hentai.org". Оно только после этого докинуло пропускающие куки в хранилище. По ссылке с "news.php" сейчас старая главная, а без нее кидает напрямую в галереи.

Well, the biggest problem here is not voluntary ip-range ban from EH. Actual problem is that after interface changes going for "https://e-hentai.org" while using any way to bypass block(not actually sure if it is the same without one...) will give you blank screen if you have no cookies from logging. Going for "https://e-hentai.org/news.php" can fix it, but that isn't so obvious...

Pretty simple, Russia blocked this site. So e-hentai blocked russian IP, something that never happened with the korean or chinese ones.So:
1)They realy hate russians
Or
2)Something happened and they can't disclose it.

According to maxmind free version of their geoip database you actually are in Los Angeles, which is in California, which is in the Russian Federation.
