That's my job alright. One aspect of it at least. Have I ever told you about the monkeys on the server? They were hired to eat bugs after anteaters were fired for eating only one kind of bug. Unfortunately the monkeys also went for the internal nuts and bolts. Entertainment, remember? Anyhow. QUOTE(rimefox @ Jan 21 2017, 01:44) That's nonsense.. flagging by RKN doesn't suppose any reprisals even for residents. RKN isn't law enforcement So why are you worried about using a personal VPN? If you use one that everyone can access, someone already ran an image scrapper there for sure. This post has been edited by blue penguin: Jan 21 2017, 04:03

QUOTE(JediMage @ Jan 21 2017, 00:35) So why is it so important whenever site is banned for users from one side or from the other?
Again, everyone keeps simplifying\misconducting matter. Probably because they used to most straightforward thinking and law-abiding structure of western buerecracy. What Russia have in executive branch now can be classified as corporate oligarchy, with exact approach how corporation functionaries follow instructions and make decisions. Rule #1: Boss makes all rules #2 Rule do not be last in the line. Etc.. with law being somewhere on last step. RKN flagging not directly connected to what is banned or not..it result of giving them right to _flag anything_ they want_ if they can somehow explain why that is good to block. They do not have any legal right beside that, they only can ask the procuratory organs if they can find crime in actions of subject (which is non-item in case on non-resident). They are working outside trial and lawsuit system, so they can ban anything without explanation. Like they blocked github for propaganda of suicide because one comment had colloquialism that if understood directly , cold be reference to hanging "I'll hang myself before I'm done" Second, EH WAS NOT BANNED. Some pages on it was, and site is quite accessible from Russia This post has been edited by rimefox: Jan 21 2017, 04:06

They all would have same exit IPs anyway, There is no physical way to create a new VPN _outside_ of country (because either services are blocking or they don't provide to russians) and useless to do this inside. Only VPNs avialable are plugins for Opera and Chrome (Frigate and similar) or temporary VPN services.. they all used widely. Simply multiple users on same VPN would cause too much of page loads. What you suppose that somehow I should create standalone VPN with fixed IP outside country it's either not possible or costs astronomical sums. Even without I sometimes was getting those erros.. all IPs in russia are DHCP if that's not corporate, with period of change from 12 to 2 hours, depends on ISP This post has been edited by rimefox: Jan 21 2017, 04:13

From there got to one of my servers in ireland. And then proxied myself back here. The following works: CODE curl -v --proxy 83.239.58.162:8080 https://www.digitalocean.com curl -v --proxy 83.239.58.162:8080 https://www.linode.com curl -v --proxy 83.239.58.162:8080 https://aws.amazon.com And 83.239.58.162 is in Moskow - Ho! QUOTE(rimefox @ Jan 20 2017, 17:34) TenB setting up website to block russian IPs and intentionally making _all_ VPS_ (custom VPN didn't work, it got 5day ban after single use) is exactly action they want to cause further escalations.. in every little thing possible. You fail to understand how VPNs work. In simpler terms, what would happen when 100 (1000s in VPN case) people share the same VPN IP outlet and then all access try to access the same time? Ho! Ho! (see song) try do that when _physically_ being here. It's different. By the way that particular IP is blocked by ISPs, I get the very page I had linked before. What they actually do is kind of man-in-the-middle or web-proxy for _very_ connection that is private property. And by physically impossible i mean that we cant access anything that would allow create proxy outside country that way, for various reason. E.g. if setting up, paid service, simple the payment method would be declined. If using one of most shady ones, they are blocked or they reuse their outgoing IP. PS. Checked list of allowed ports foby ISP.. 8080 is even explicitly blocked. Well, one can use any random port, technically.. This post has been edited by rimefox: Jan 21 2017, 04:57

That's not related to RKN, there is law about restriction of VPN fuctions. RKN is not related to legislature or law enforcement (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) KRN status is somewhat similar to IETF status.. it's regulatory\recommending organ. QUOTE(rimefox @ Jan 21 2017, 02:52) try do that when _physically_ being here. Since you need to use the network physically I invite you for tea. The range of a physical network is about 300 meters, so if we are managing to talk to each other through it you must be pretty close. 'tis the red brick house, green door, with a badly cut hedge (super easy to find). The bell doesn't work but it is the ground flat so you can knock on the window. It looks like TenB got pushed from the other side. Not from Russia. Or he is really blackmailed of sorts. Or he is buying something and his dealer kindly asks him to block Russia 'cause of hate or such.
I liked this site for years. But it is now time to move on to some other, I guess. Buying vpn for one site is ridiculous and purely idiotic. I pay for dofantasy sub because of the original content and for Roberts and Erenisch art in particular. But just for gallery? No. No other site in the internet demands me to use vpn. Even after this RKN nonscense - freegate and some other addons are enough with a big gap overhead. Just for your info - I pay nothing for the internet access of 100 mbit. I, my fiancee and my father have Beeline cellphone operator, so they give you 150 tv channels and home internet for free (1 rub per mounth). We pay only total of 1200 rub/month for cell service for 3 our phones (this is totally normal tariff, not overpriced).
Only thing I do not understand - why not to write it in news? It wasn't that hard? Though thank you for keeping this thread alive for someone like me to come wondering "is it my pc problem? Provider block? Rkn block? Network dead or what happened to the site anyway?".
Never heard of image usage maximum here. Ever. For 3+ years using.
Thank you for all the good you've done. Wish you the best! May be TenB will have his mood back one day and open access for us.

How is that going to help? You're seriously trying to destabilize a society to accommodate some babbys, that's currently the downward spiral the west is taking. A government can't stop the vices of a population. The smart ones already fap and the dumb ones are in this thread completely blind to the hoops the chinese, turks, koreans have to jump through to fap. The same shit happens every time the copyright cartel bribes some politicians or a moral panic happens and websites get blacklisted, then babbys appear for a while but this time they fail to understand they will get no answers here. QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Jan 20 2017, 16:30) Actually you created this problem; you voted for it.
I didn't. Don't generalize. That way you can say that Americans voted for Trump. Yeah, many of them did. But not all of them. And so, what should those who voted for Hillary do now? Get a new one? Are you suggesting a coup? To send the country to chaos, like Ukrainians did? Like we did in the past? Maybe Americans should get rid of Trump too? Yeah, I probably should've just ignore this thread, I don't even use this site that much, it's just that some of the statements are ridiculous (though I do realize this thread is just one big trolling of Russians, full of prejudices, generalization, and outright hatred).

It mostly was obvious if using proxy\VPN or using mobile internet (GSM providers use proxy by default, at least in our country). Otherwise only someone hyperactive or someone who tries mass download (scrapping) from site would be affected

Problem is, I tried. And have no satisfying results with Tor. If you have, say, an advice how to use Tor to access the e-hentai, I would most humbly apologise to everyone I insulted. I swear.
