- Reordering can now both be done with the page selector and with drag-dropping the files around.

- Added the functionality to auto-reorder gallery pages based on the filename, using either a regular or natural sorting algorithm.

- You no longer need to explicitly "create" a gallery before you can start adding files to it, creation and initial upload can now be done as one action.

These features look great and will certainly make it easier to upload galleries.

@Tenboro, why "d" and "1" not works anymore? that was a useful thing for sorting.
also, where reverse sorting?

for example: most of my galleries im regularry updating have numerical prefix for a files in first upload, and files from updates havnt prefix, like
(%ArtistName%_%id%_ArtName)

so gallery reverse sorted by id (= by date)

Now i cant add new files in reverse order into first places.
so i should redownload and reupload 200+Gb monthly just to add new pics? not seems like useful update for me.

Please, just return "d" and "1" functional.

upd: oh, here are no anymore place for deleted pics, so i cant reorder files even with "d" + "1" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Why not prepend a date as in 20170117_Artist_blabla.png , 20170119_Artist_bla.png so you can always have the images names based on the day you are uploading.

On the other hand, I need to agree that reverse sort would be welcome.

For both cases you should really be using a bulk renamer.

I can assure you that not using a bulk renamer for filenames do annoy a good deal of people. In the file organisation and in the galleries too.

no sense here. bulk renamer not knows upload dates and all files was downloaded in same day/time.

whatever how exactly it was prefixed(by data/id/etc) - with current system new pics cant pe sorted properly together with old pics without redownloading/reprefixing/reuploading all old+new pics together.

I gave you a chance to compromise. You did not take it.

Had you compromised I would have supported the additions. Tough luck. The compromise would have been a clever lazy, you're being dumb lazy. There's a difference.

And we can help. Note that your attitude toward others do influence Tenb's attitude towards you. A feature "because you want" and a feature "because the community wants" is a considerable difference.

The upload interface has been revamped to take advantage of various fancy stuff that's been added to HTML and the underlying software stack over the last few years.

- The Create, Modify, Upload, Preview and Reorder pages have all been combined into a single management page, which also has several data readouts that were not previously available.

Image limits are tied to IP address, so if anybody else is using the same IP address then the image limit could be reached faster.
