我觉得有些学霸追求高GPA也算正常吧。首先美国TA好讲话，脸皮厚点能高点当然高点。
其次读研或者进有些企业是很看GPA的，有些企业人均3.8以上你没3.8就吃亏。对于一些专业排名高的学校申请那些专业还是挺看GPA的。
当然有些学校为了敛财降低申请难度，让排名低的专业专门收中国人那就是另一回事了。

别说了，我GPA3.3还想申研。。。。我怎么就没有找TA改分呢。。。。
基本上都是根据自己写的内容argue，倒是没怎么appeal to emotion
