五一假期就在家歇了一天……比平时还累

I was listening to a Cantonese song on YouTube and I felt the translations in the comment section was bad, I though I could do better so I translated half of the lyrics.

But then, I felt what I did would be pretty pointless if I don't post it somewhere so......here it is:

我期待　到無奈　有話要講　得不到裝載
I anticipated till I ran out of patience; Have something to say but unable to convey

我的心情猶像樽蓋　等被揭開
My heart feels like a bottle cover waiting to be pryed open

咀巴卻在養青苔
My lips however gave rise to moss

人潮內　愈文靜　愈變得　不受理睬
Amid the crowd, the quieter I am, the more I'm ignored

自己要攪出意外
I myself need to stir up an accident

像突然地高歌　任何地方也像開四面台
Like suddenly singing, anywhere seems like a 4 sided stage

著最閃的衫　扮十分感慨
Don the shiniest outfit, act full of emotion

有人來拍照要記住插袋
When someone come for pictures remember: hands in pocket

你當我是浮誇吧　誇張只因我很怕
You just treat me as exaggerating, I exaggerate only because I'm scared

似木頭　似石頭　的話　得到注意嗎
If I'm like a log, like a rock then will I be noticed?

其實怕被忘記　至放大來演吧
If you're actually afraid of being forgotten, blow it up to perform

很不安　怎去優雅
If you're very disturbed, how can you be elegant?

世上還讚頌沉默嗎
Does the world still praise silence?

不夠爆炸　怎麼有話題
If its not explosive enough, how can there be a talking point

讓我誇　做大娛樂家
Let me exaggerate, be a big entertainer

那年十八　母校舞會　站著如嘍羅
When I was 18, during my Alma Mater's prom, I stood like a minion

那時候　我含淚發誓各位　必須看到我
That time I solemnly swear to everyone to look out for me

在世間　平凡又普通的路太多
In this world, there's too many mundane and normal roads

屋邨你住哪一座
Which apartment do you live?

情愛中　工作中　受過的忽視太多
In love, at work, the silent treatment endured is too much

自尊已飽經跌墮
Self-esteem was guaranteed to have already reached nadir

It was classic. When I first heard about it (about some 6years ago) I even tried to learn its Cantonese pronunciations.
