Then everyone is the same distance away from the winning number and shares in the winnings equally

But I know there are players trying their best to win, so this will not happen (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Guh. People with private guesses went higher than I thought/did only one guess and not 2 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

If the "same number" is not 0, then everybody will lose if only one says something a little higher than 100.
But even if everyone say 0, everyone wins, and the prize will be split in too many parts to matter something (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The "real" logic of the game would be: nobody will say 666+ because that amount can't win ever.
But if everyone say 666 or less then 444 wins.
If everyone know that then they will guess 2/3 of 444 to win.
And then 2/3 again.
Until you get to 0.

Yep, that's the idea. How many levels ahead of the other participants can you think? Try to think exactly one level above them, but only one, else your guess will be too low!

My guesses are always too low. I'm overthinking too much.
I didn't expect there would be lower number of participants each game.
My guess for this round will be "200"

The best thing to do would be playing EVERYONE private guesses, then in the last minutes someone makes some public guess, and then some extra private guesses.
Like that would be very funny (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Not everyone has what it takes for something like this. Only 35 guesses came within 100 of the winning number for Game 2.

The new rule is intended to rule out those those who are not at least giving the game a bit of thought (which will incidentally help those who are overestimating the thoughtfulness of other users).

It all depends on what you think I mean by "If you are clearly not trying to guess to win". I won't include incredibly dumb guesses in the average or as possible winners.

Many players want to know what exactly this means so they can try to get around it and screw with things. So I can't say anything publicly until the end of the game, sorry.

Hint: If I am not going to include certain incredibly high or incredibly low guesses, what will happen to the average? The percentage drop between #2 and #3 is probably going to be significantly larger than the percentage drop between #1 and #2.
