I tried not to be too greedy. Honestly, I don't know much about the game, I really only started a week ago. I've just been trying to learn via lurking and experimenting. I honestly can't say I'm doing much other than clicking things mindlessly but it is a lot of fun.

For the spiral of happiness thing, I guess I'll share a story. I'm waylaid at home right now because of a kidney condition I'm going through. It's really quite shitty and has basically made me a useless human. Anyways, I was feeling pretty shitty the last little while. I don't know if my folks noticed that or not, but earlier today me and my dad went out and we got a Cat Stevens record to spin on the ol' turntable. We also got a whole duck and he roasted it for dinner, and duck is pretty much my favorite meal. It made me very happy, I guess. So I've been trying to continue that feeling of happiness and trying not to focus on any shittiness. So I've decided to watch some old anime tonight from when I was a teen, like School Rumble, Gantz, Planetes, Full Metal Panic, Azumanga Daioh, stuff like that. Reminds me of when I was younger and gives me a really nostalgic and happy feeling.




EDIT: I wanted to make a new post, but I wasn't sure if that was frowned upon. Either way, I don't know if you'll see this edit, but thanks for sending all the stuff, I really appreciate it. I wasn't sure if there's any protocol to this e.g responding with a thanks via mooglemail or just responding here. Regardless, all those health potions really helped out! And you sent some mana ones too which I didn't ask for, and obviously I now know, are very useful to me LOL. Thanks again for all ya do for us newer folks.

For the spiral of happiness thing, I don't know if this truly counts but I've been tagging more and more stuff on here and I've slowly been going up in the toplist. It's a really small thing but I'm getting the hang of it and it's made me really happy to contribute to the site in some small way. I know it's not a big thing, but I really like doing it. I've always been way too timid to ever tag stuff or vote on stuff in the years I've been here, but through lurking (and reading the more experienced users posts in the vigilante threads) I've been learning a lot.
