QUOTE(nsj @ Oct 29 2021, 18:44) Is there a way to get a bidkey besides PMing super? I've been trying to send him a PM every now and then but I think his inbox is permafull.
Send him a MM in HV, he will reply in a few days.

Superlatanium is not responding to forum posts and PM's in the past years. Perhaps sending a MM could work?

Everything falling down.
Not only the auction is not updating correctly as pointed above, the post and cancel are not registered correctly too.
I made a Bit but with it not appearing i deleted the post and made another one after some time but got a warning saying that i needed to outbid myself.

only the result on the thread not updating, all bid handled, you can check the result on [ reasoningtheory.net] https://reasoningtheory.net/itemlist259480for why the result not update I guess it simply because the characters out of limit

This kind of issue with the main post happens from time to time due to the character limit (especially if bidders have long names or there's lots of materials) or if mods edit the post at all for some reason - but as mentioned above the system actually continues working properly in the background and even posted bids are counted properly. Reasoningtheory has the authoritative bid logs. This post has been edited by Nezu: Jul 23 2022, 01:50

i think you may solve things once and for all by putting rules and items in post #1 and gears in post #2, is it doable to edit your scripts in order to achieve such a thing?

also, copypasting this here: QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jul 24 2022, 11:29) I included too many items in the auction list and hit the forum post character limit way sooner than I thought, resulting in Post #1 failing to update. All bids (both manual and proxy) were still processed properly, but their results were only displayed [ reasoningtheory.net] on the website, not on the forum. The resulting final prices are probably pretty close to what they would have been if there hadn't been problems, but some may have been reluctant to participate, so to be conservative, I won't send out the items as they were bid on here. I'll make a new thread, and to avoid hitting the character limit, will list only some of the items from this thread. The first half of the items will be put into a thread listed ~now until 14:00 UTC Tuesday, and the second half of the items will be put into another thread listed ~18:00 UTC Tuesday until 14:00 UTC Thursday.

Hello Superlatanium,
First, I'd like to thank you for your awesome auctions that you do for free.
Second, as a bidder in Auction #329, I've been waiting anxiously for my winning bids items to arrive. Upon receiving news of auction redo, I'm upset and sad as I have to wait longer and risk losing my winning bids.
I understand that a redo is necessary to make it fair for other people who were reluctant to participate. But at the same time, it's not fair for us, the early bidders. In your auction "Rules and Features", you made a point to bid early, consistently and even give discount to encourage early bidders.
Therefore as a bidder in auction #329, I'd kindly request to reduce the duration of redo auctions by half. So we don't have to wait such a long time for items that we should have received today.
Thank you for reading.

Since you can already auto-read comments on the forum to update auction (for those not using bidkey/proxy bid) - can we have a special/specific thread, or a page in reasoningtheory, for bidkey queue/waitlist?

Thank you for your hard Work, before you explain this, I can't know it's the Problem of the Length of a Post.
