I agree the item is priced well. This is rather about the principle and consistency of how this particular auction works. Another way to look at it is: what if I had an item that barely meets Superlatanium's criteria, but I list it every week for a start bid of 100k, and this goes on for months. Maybe it even sells eventually. But is this fair to everyone, and is that the price it should have sold for at this auction, as opposed to a shop?

I tried not to suggest that this item needed to be removed, perhaps another consistent solution could be found. For example, requiring that sellers with an unsold item reduce the start price by a certain amount each time. That would get my 100k junk out of there.

I agree. The auction system isn't necessarily for finding the best price to sell something at (just a happy coincidence if you'd have underpriced it), but selling it fast. If auctions started getting flooded with gear that's not able to sell quickly - regardless of pricing - at that point it's just a shop

You can say that this or that is a fair price, or a reasonable price, or a good price, or whatever.

But at the end of the day, supply and demand rules. If no one is buying your item (regardless of how "fair" some people might say the price is), then it should either not be in the next auction at all, or should be allowed to enter, but at a reduced starting cost.

How come proxy bidder randomly bid 1k while the next bid were normal 50k again? Cmiiw but I think it shouldn't, as it will be tricky for manual bidder if they don't check the first or second post after they manually bid.

yes, that's why sometimes people bid 81k and not 80k, for example

Actually it doesn't matter, Super will give the credits to the seller regardless of the buyer payment.

I think he was just busy in the last few days, the credits will arrive, sooner or later.

When filtering by bidder it identifies proxy bids by the same bidder as a separate bidder. Seems like a weird distinction to me.

Now that you mentioned it everything seems to belong to the discount part this week. I just assumed it wasn't functioning properly as it wasn't showing anything under time-based price multipliers. Guess it was just an extraordinary week in that sense.

General remark: the more time passes by, the less time we have to see the items and bid.
Nowadays the auctions seem to start on Thursday to then end on Saturday afternoon, which makes barely more than 2 days to bid. Quite short IMHO.

It works as it should: real-time bidder have priority over proxy bidder in the case of identical bets ^.^
