i dont know if i'm in the minority but i liked the original auction style. no tax or discount, just keep it like a standard auction.

they're too high level and 2 pabs only, also negaativre rols. i was the only one who bid on them from earlier auctions

i klnow i paid 50k or more for each for those

Some of the equips are moderately decent - at least one (and very likely multiple more) will sell for 50k or more. If you sold them all for 50k you'd be losing out. A couple others aren't near the baseline (they weren't sold in my auction before), no one would be interested, I'll just return them. I'll list the rest separately, and you'll almost certainly get a lot more profit than if you tried to sell them all together for just 50k, if that's OK.

I don't want to list packs of multiple equips (or items) at once, if at all possible, it requires an unfortunate amount of micromanagement to be compatible with the auto-updater and the mooglemail reader / parser / equip sender. I don't want to encourage the precedent, sorry.

Following the auctions in the last 2 months, I've noticed a lot of medium-tier medium-to-high-level Legendary that noone bids for.

As for me, I didn't because I think the 50k start price is unjustified in such cases, but I would have bidded for some of them if the start price would have been e.g. between 20k to 25k

Like for plane leather or cotton items, that are otherwise good enough for some use, but not worthy 50k.

I didn't do a poll, but I'd bet there are other people around here that'd agree with me.

Simply returning them to the owners will in most cases just take them out of the market effectively.

Why not simply accept that some items have to have a lower start price ? (If the sellers agreed, obviously).

That would make it possible for the owners to have more income, the auctions to have less unsold, the market to have more items available floating around, the buyers to have more choice and being able to settle for a reasonable low-end temporarily instead of just renounce to upgrade their gears. This especially in those mid-levels around 300-350, I think would make a difference to more than a few people. Everyone happy.

Do you find any fault in this argument, Super ?

there's a tiny chance someone finds a better item from a self-drop or private business. in that case, personally i don't see anything wrong in retreating.
if, on the other hand, it's someone who just raises to discover proxy bids, it's clearly an abuse.

that's just how spoiled the market is these days, i guess. level-bind may have been sort of an attempt to fix things, but it worked only till a certain extent.

Aye, if I make a bid then after 10 hours you make one higher (outbid me) for 2 hours, then I outbid you again for 30 minutes, in then end the system will tell I have been winning the bid for 10.5 hours.

i think you only get discount if you win for 65 hours, i think below that you get 0% discount

the discounts are made in base of the taxes, watch the taxes, the amount from it is so small (less than 50k) that it wouldn't have made any considerable discount to early bidders
super doesn't keep any of the taxes, it is implemented on the discounts
