Thanks for the reply. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, good points, and the last few minutes having extra drama. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Maybe an Announcement that the Auction will Start in 24 hours, will aid in allowing buyers and sellers to participate.

I don't believe it is 33 hours, but maybe so. I was watching hourly Friday for it and didn't notice until only 18 hours were left, thats when I calculated it was only 24 hours. but I may be wrong.

We all have Real Life issues that gets in the way of a 24 hour window, 48 hours double the time to allow more participants.

BTW: I'm saying this for concern for both buyers and sellers, but as you stated buyers will benefit more.

Thanks again. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Super's auction is what it is. Superlatanium is not active on the forum anymore, and he's not actively playing anymore. He's still hosting the auctions as a kind service to the community. But don't expect any changes. Timing is most likely just what's convenient for Superlatanium. Best just to accept how it is. Or, alternatlively, create your own auction system and do it how you like it.

I missed super latanium auction. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

obtained some good gears and sent some to him long time ago for auctions (got no luck though, all the legendaries were unsellable - so yeah - goes to the bin)

a bit off the topic,
Anyway, any seller wants to sell any at least a legendary phase (radiant/frugal) gloves of heimdall?

We occasionally get forum reports asking for wrong bids to be deleted. The auction is automated, and deleted posts can potentially break it, so these should not be reported unless it is actual spam or something. If you need to cancel a bid, the auction OP contains instructions.

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Feb 21 2025, 06:19) *

[*]Bids made via forum post can be canceled by typing itemcode cancel in a subsequent post before the last 24 hours of the auction, but should not be done after. If you mistype, you can edit your post to invalidate your bid if you have not revealed a proxy bid.

Hmm, anyone mind explaining what happened to my bid?
As of this moment of writing, I'm listed as the winning bidder for this heavy armor on the last auction thread #468:

[Hea01] Peerless Ruby Power Gauntlets of Warding (381, ADB 100%) (seller: anhunwen) decidua 1.3m #67

But I noticed today that I didn't get the equip, and it seems to have been won by someone else.
I'm really sure that I never canceled my bid, and I'm quite sure that I haven't broken any rule yet, so what did I miss?

Looks like the thread hasn't updated since Friday. Not sure if his script broke or something, or maybe hit post limits.

It's probably safer using [reasoningtheory.net] https://reasoningtheory.net/bidlog284033 (new link should update each new auction in the first post)

Dang, you're right. I missed that detail since the system seemed to work so seamlessly up until now (Thanks Superlatanium (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)). From your experience, has this ever happened before?

If by any chance Superlatanium happened to read this post, can I suggest adding another clause in the auction's rules and explanation?
Mainly just to explain to the newcomer that the reasoningtheory.net has the finality on the auction state/result and that the forum thread is just there for your convenience, so it's better to rely less on the auction thread and refer to the auction site whenever possible.
Hopefully it'll save some inexperienced bidder like me from getting confused about what happened in the future.

Yeah, this has happened before. Unfortunately, Super is basically absent, so we're stuck with what we have.

May I ask what happened to the March 15, 2025 auction?

The forums were down for a period of time when the auction would normally start. It was likely held back in consideration of that, or potentially due to automated scripts failing during it
