I think maybe you haven't understand what Sharmy said; when he says "farming SG arena" is speaking of the last three arenas only (in your case, only End of Days, until you reach the level for the other two), because they have SG (aka Schoolgirls) in the last rounds.
EDIT: correction, also the second-to-last, and soon the tlast too).

Now the catch is, SGs drop trophies (not always, 20% chance IIRC, see the wiki) that you can sell (not in bazaar, which gives nothing) for 2.5k or 5k each depending on which ones you get. And this chance is independent of difficulty level.

So, you can blaze through it with shitty equip @Normal, and still get (on average) enough trophies to earn 20-30 K from this one arena alone. The EXP gained doing it will also be useful to reach the level where you will unlock the other two arenas, and doing all three last arenas each day (even on Normal) you'll be able to quickly reach your first million.

By the time you'll reach above level 300, you will have enough to buy good equips for your style of choice (perhaps not mage, but still ... that's an exception for other reasions too), all the basic perks and forging material.

EDIT: correction, if you start farmin last 3 arenas only now that you're already L.297, it will take you a little bit more; btw, I did the same mistake at that level, insisting on doing first-page and lower second page arenas on highest diff. hoping for drops, instead of farming SG arenas at low diff. I have come to regret it a lot in the meantime.
And I even played the first/second RoB s instead of farming Noodles.
But I wanted to quickly acquire as much Token of Bloods as possible, 'cuz I wished to open as much monster slots as possible. In retrospect, it wasn't a very wise move (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

The only real way to become, if not really rich, comfortably well-living in this game (besides using real money,or hope for a quite improbable superlucky drop), is to learn whatever there is to learn, in order to use all available resources as efficiently as possible. Wiki and the expert forums are your best resources here, believe me, but it also requires a constant effort on your part. There is much to know, and what is best also changes with the level. Got my katana soulfused and maxed out finally, so here's hoping that carries me up to at least 250. Not sure if I should try to do the same with a waki or if I'm better off just using my 260-someodd proficiency in Two-Handed.

Niten is not just Two-Handed proficiency but Dual Wielding proficiency either.
Snom remembered Snom 1st waki was bought from the Bazaar and Snom sell it back to which it came from when Snom get a fine waki. You should often check the Bazaar for the waki. And it's should be balance (Offensive, recommended for your level) or nimble (Defensive,over level 300 and above) in the waki's suffix tho.(UwU)

That's why I was asking... although for some reason I have a bunch of proficiency in things i've never used (~70), I'm primarily focused in Two-Handed. Wasn't sure if it was worth it to go to Ninten over just using the katana on it's own. From the skills that's something I'll have a while to consider though, as I don't have part of it unlocked, anyway.

Sounds logical enough, although if I were to go back to pure Two-Handed, I'd probably go back to a Mace. For now, though, I don't have the ability to unlock a lot of abilities (250 is when I think I can finally get the Dual Deflection for Ninten? Don't have the game up right now), so I'll stick with just using the Katana on it's own until I can do that. Beyond taking a lot more damage a lot quicker due to not having my stun chance anymore, it seems to be working decently enough. Should be even better when I get all the forge upgrades maxed out, too.
Probably not smart to pour this much effort into an item, but hell, I'll stick with it until it stops working. Guess I went from Morgoth to some generic Samurai, bwaha.

Snom is a very poor Niten since it's level was 200 and it's a painful journey growing up to level 300. Snom did buy stuffs from the Bazaar which people said "do not trade with Bazaar for equipments/items" (but they do not said anywhere else to buy those things). Snom trade with Bazaar until level 310 when Snom knows there are a forum for selling(WTS) / buying(WTB) stuffs, but Snom have already bought a set from the Bazaard (*^*). Snom recommend that you shouldn't go on Two-Handed + Light way. Niten + Light (Reinforcement + Deflection) is recommended, like Snom does. And after Snom has been enlightened in the forum that the most recommended at your level is One-Handed + Heavy, a Slowpoke, but it will work well. And now Snom want to try Niten + 4 Shade ('any prefix' with 'Shadow-dancer'), it's still gathering the other pieces.
Morgoth would fall when you reach level over 280, Snom thinks (.3.)
