If to be used as a stub equipment to start 1-H style the Powers can be passable but yes, being level 500 buying them are just a credit sink, it took some time for me to understand that when i started HV.
Those day in show the only things worth buying for an hugh level player are the few Mag cloth with low price that sometime are trashed by someone or the lucky Legendary\Peerless that someone will sell erroneously and is not fast enought to buy back.

I don't see high level as something bad, because you can soulfuse it if needed. Other than that - eh, it's mostly just a hobby for me. If you'll catch something better at bazaar - be my guest and post it. Well yeah, it's one of the reasons I bought some of these. Not to "start" though, more like "trying the heavy a little". (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I've got more or less decent armor from the lottery, but all the other stuff... eh, don't want to spend millions to get decent ones from auctions, because heavy is still more of a experiment for me. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It is quite bad actually, first because there is an upper limit on what you can soulfuse, which can be a problem for low level players. Second reason is that soulfusing much higher level gear costs a considerable amount of credits, which is something that you should take into account. The only situation on which being high level (500 to be precise) is a good thing is when it comes to endgame gear, which is not the case here. Only when it is just 100 level above you and i have read too many people comment about that they just never have enough soul fragments that i doubt it would ever make sense for a lot of people to waste a load of them by soulfusing something with a high level.

Well, as I said before - I like to collect stuff as a hobby. Sometimes it even pays off, because it becomes obsolete. Hell, half of my current gear is obsolete. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The moment you buy them they become untradeble. So there is no paying off now.

I don't mean "paying off" like a "monetary income" - it's more like "possession of something rare".

This thread comes from a good intention, that much is certain, but unfortunately it will not be very useful. If there is actual not so bad equipment in the bazaar, when you post it, it's already gone by the time someone reads it on forums. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I do agree with the fact that nowadays players have very high standards, but let's not be that pessimistic: there do are some who are aware that the actual difference between a 20% ADB and a 80% ADB isn't that big. And such players won't hesitate to buy the 20% ADB if it allows them to do what they want without breaking their piggy bank.

I'm doing the same thing as you, buy from bazaar, only found one or two useful stuff, others are trash. It's wasting credits for sure, but i think pay a little for entertaining myself worth.

Okay then, I'll just share some stuff I got from bazaar too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Legendary Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance (Lv 500 at the time, 87% ADB, 86% Parry, 57% Crit Chance)...ok, the PABs are terrible, but the one I previously had was worse so...iirc this was sssss2's before he bazaared it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Peerless Shocking Club of Balance Trash, but it was a peerless in bazaar! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Honorable mentions: Magnificent Onyx Power Armor of Protection, bought this when I was around lv 200, it was lv 267 with already Jug 3 and IW5, it helped me a bit back in the day Legendary Savage Shade Boots of the Shadowdancer I bazaared them by mistake with the HVUT script and I had to buy them back for 55k (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Then oldies, a couple of scythes and some crude trash. I also had more, but I bazaared back/salvaged everything else (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Legendary Mithril Power Armor of Balance<Legendary Amber Power Leggings of Protection<Magnificent Mithril Power Gauntlets of Slaughter
Under the low-level formula, these pieces are worth a little bit of money. But I haven't studied the advanced market. Obviously, the price drop by level will be faster, especially at level 500. The highest one I estimate is 100k. The problem is that it is not worth going to SF at all. When you get to level 500, you will almost certainly not use 100k equipment.

I don't think so, maybe after lv.500 and I started to collect and build all type of gear.
