Reading some of the posts in here about t/s and ping...and I thought my sub-2.5 t/s that I've been struggling with was bad. Well, then again, I do remember the dark days when I had only around 1 t/s too, but then I optimised a lot of stuff.

Still. At one point it took me over 2 hours to beat DWD PFUDOR. Now my last one was 37 minutes (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well, my ping (just tried) to HV is around 500+ ms for the first ping, then averaging 30 ms for the followings (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Admittedly, I'm on 3G cellular network, so it's more or less what you could expect from it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Anyway, I doubt that using Monsterbation script would be very useful in such a situation, don't you think ?

At least in terms of t/s, even clicking is too fast, I often have to wait for the page to update before attacking/selecting a spell (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I had thought the same as you about Monsterbation, but we are currently discussing it in that same thread. I think it will still show improvement with bad (or far away) internet, but not as much. I am still testing things out.

Also my opinion is that at lower level you don't need Monsterbation or script tricks yet. Even at my level, I don't yet feel a desperate need for it. However, by level 300 I might.

No, actually, it's not. That is the cloud cache kickin' in. When you have to refresh a page, it goes waaay UP (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

No boost for repeated pings (contrary to base HV).

I have started to use scripts for hovering when I was about 150 level. Actually, if I have knew about hovering scripts, than I had started to use them even earlier. Just nobody told me (and why they should? xD) and I haven't checked the forum and threads actively. It was before Monsterbation script. I believe I have started with MeleeLighting script, then switched to Reloader script, now I am with Monsterbation script =)

My bet, if you will, at least +30% to speed with Monsterbation even with bad Internet.
And once again, it is not like installing Monsterbation (or any other script) is too long or complicated - anyone can install and check for themselves and see the difference, no matter mage/melee/novice/expert they are =)

Because base HentaiVerse has CloudFlare protection - you are actually pinging not HentaiVerse server itself, but CloudFlare CDN server.
HentaiVerse-alt has no CloudFlare security server beside, so you actually pinging game server.
That is difference in pinging them.
With pinging alt you will receive real results, with pinging base you will receive corrected according to CloudFlare protection.

This is from my phone. Using wifi.
Using a buggy alpha version of Taylia's monsterbation android port, I get around 0.2 to 0.3 tps, but I also have to refresh the page at the start of each round.

Iirc, when I tested this from an old shitty laptop, using the same wifi and monsterbation, I had a ping of 500ms-600ms and 0.5 tps.


Is it always like this? I guess so? The game is performing the same as it always has... this is the first time I have ever attempted to ping from my phone (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Even on computer tho, it's slow af. One of the pangs of living where I live (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

This is why I level up sooooooo slowly. About 1, rarely 2, levels per week.
This is also why I have AAS servers - so I can afford gear upgrades etc.
