I am just level 77. So far I have try to reach round 30+. The difficulty is set to Normal

Nice, I have problems with clearing more than 120 rounds (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) (no scrolls or infusions). Maybe because I'm too lazy to care about mana and ET mobs.

Managed to clear Road less traveled at Iwbth, but with VERY big problems. I may be able to clear 20 & 25 round arenas, but only on serious steroids : non stop scrolls, infusions, mana elixir, health elixir and maybe some DMG boosters e.g. Bubble Gum.

120 rounds of Iwbth grindfest with No Elixirs, Great Stamina, Shards, Infusions, Focus, Spirit Stance, Ether Theft,Cheaper Spells Or Scrolls,(NEGSSIFSSETCSOS) with fair-exq holy gear? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

What....but how..... I know holy mages with gear worth more than hundred times yours and they can't do that. But to have only 120 rounds of normalfest...Do you have 5 levels of pack rat? I find legendary IWs(on easy/normal) take me between 1-7 godly mana(best to wort, usually 3 to 5) pots to complete. Not even managing 120 rounds on normal gf...I cannot imagine what one must do as a mage to fail to manage that.

I don't use great stamina(should try), but otherwise ranging from rounds I use almost nothing to everything above, including all buffs but spike spells. Keep in mind, some of what I do to reach that deep loses money and it is not worth the time when compared to more straightforward blasting but it is more fun like that for me
That said, my gear is full magnificent/legendary(and beyond), so it doesn't bear comparison.

(Also, that round above is the max with serious RNG-luck on spirit. Usually it is several hundreds of rounds lower, if particularly unlucky dying at round ~700 which seems to be another potential bottleneck)

hm, I'm a mage. With full fenrir phase items of different qualities. I usually Start the battle using Banish and then Ragnarok. Followed by banish and then ragnarock again until all mosnters are dead. Those monsters which seem to be evading my spells get a MagNet after the 2nd banish or 1st ragnarock.

WITHOUT using any shard, scroll or infusion. Only 12 Godly Mana potions and having 1 Godly spirit potion in reserve. I get as far as round 46 in IWBTH mode of GRINDFEST and then I run oom and I either die or have to flee.

Am I doing something wrong or right?

Since you're using Fenrir, shouldn't you begin with the more damaging spell(dark) first?
Also, I'd advise to use pestilence(at least to proc the dark proc) since it uses less time to cast. And for that depth consider health elixirs.

Also, you should probably use Imperil on IWBTH.

2H prot plate melee. Equip is only good enough for clearing nightmare reliably, but some nasty timings on spirit attacks in hell have killed me in one turn from roughly 5-6k hp.

Maxed out long time ago. With stamina or without it, it doesn't make much difference as I spark almost at every round at IWBTH. Maybe it's because of my low spell power : Magical attack : 1550.2 base damage (Mana conservation staff, with my best I have something like 1750 (no forging or IWing), but amount of mana consumed by T3 dark spells hastens my miserable end during grindfeast), but it's frickin annoying to get a decent staff with nice spell power, spell power bonus, proficiency bonus, mana conservation / counter-resist & decent PAB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif). I got an access to the last tier of abilities, but it doesn't make much difference (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif). Winning anything worth wearing costs shitload of credits and when I see amount of credits used by 350+ lvl players or donors, I get a headache :/. I guess, I'll stick with improving my monsters for a while to get another source of money (in a long run).

Pestilence then banish? or something else?

Are you suggesting I Imperil each monster? At the moment I'm using Imperil on the monsters that get the least dmg, meaning the most dmg mitigation.

Set a new personal record on normalfest of round 911 this morning. Towards the end I noticed I'd forgotten to use protection scrolls. Went straight back in, remembered to use the scrolls and got to [s3.amazonaws.com] round 1232 instead.

(heavy/estoc, IA2, rainbow, all possible shards used, infusion on the estoc alone, protection scrolls used from round ~650)

Highest I ever got was 130ish on normal grind because I was too cheap to use anything. I'm not very good at this game.

I got up to round 4 in normal GF and realized I forgot to equip my weapon. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Such a high round count!
