I recently got to Twisted Plots. I had no idea there was anything beyond Endgame in the Arena, considering the name! As for my strategy...

Before latest patch: stick with hard hitting single attacks with the occasional domino strike as I use a Godly Health Potion as a shield of sorts. Every five or eight rounds I drop Shatter Strike. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I've made it to 120 in Grindfest before I got bored and fled. Made it all the way through 70 rounds of arena (on normal) without using a pot too.. that was nice.

Now I'm disappointed with anything over 110. And it would probably be about 80 if I had your robe instead of my min EDB one.

That's when we were using poison, doing them melee is what took that many turns.

Defeated Eternal Darkness on Hard, Melee - Ethereal Mace.

Not quite as maddeningly long thanks to the use of all shards. I think I only used 1 Godly Mana Potion, and 1 or 2 Mana Elixirs this time around. Had IA3 with Haste, Shadow Veil, and Spirit Shield active. Used slow at first on school girls until I realized I didn't really need to waste the mana on it. Used Heartseeker and occasionally RegenII if I had a crystal or wanted to zone out instead from checking my HP and using Cure. Used Spirit mode for all 3 2H attacks only to save spirit (didn't use a single spirit potion this time). All in all I really seem to do more damage now than I used to, but the girls still take a while, except for Konata who seems to drop fairly quickly now. I only had 1 time where a captcha restored about 300+ mana.

Next up: DwD on Hard. Seems doable now, although gonna have to really skimp on RegenII except when I have a crystal. Same with heartseeker if possible to save mana. I think with all of my slots for mana elixirs I can do it, plus hopefully my damage is better in 20 levels. Still concerned about having to deal with 3x the school girls, and I still don't see, even with all of the above buffs, how you could do DwD as a Melee on IWBTH, which is my final HV goal. Maybe one of you that has done it (Dovahlkin) as a melee can elaborate?

I'm not too worried about the 3 dragons at the end as I can always use Spark of Life if Spirit Shield won't help enough (as long as I have a Mana or Spirit Elixir left) Or do I need to be worried about them? I heard you have to use MagNet on them since they are otherwise impervious to spells (which I currently don't have). So if any of you have useful dragon experience I'd like to hear it.
