I started by hacking through the early rounds and eventually started dropping Meteor to speed things up. When it got to be 4-5 Mid-Bosses, I added a second Teir 1 shot. Asd for Yuki, after A couple of Magic shots to clear the cannon fodder, it was just the usual Niten style hack job relying on Bleed and Poison to do the job, dropping Scrolls and re-casting Debuffs as needed.

Oh, and the sample Attack info includes Heartseeker active. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Snowflake gave me...

So, basically, all I got out of this was Credits and XP. That and perhaps the being the first to do this primarily melee in cloth (and magic with a Katana).

Items: Used the 4 Greater and a Superior getting through the 79 Round grind, and dropped two more Superior during Yuki. Multiple Scrolls of the Gods and the Avatar used, too.

Boy that was a slog! Took me a solid 2.5 hours, maybe more. At least I perfected a way to maintain my mana pool, but man that made it take forever.

FSM Defeated on Hell

I started my daily FSM beatdown on Hell by mistake (I usually do him on Normal), and decided "Fuck it, I'll give it a shot." It took forever, but I managed to beat him fairly handily.

I knew those 120 Scroll of the Shadows I had in my inventory would come in handy, as I used more than 20 of them to ensure an extremely high chance to avoid Puff of Logic. I still got hit by 5 of them, but Absorb caught 3 and Spirit Shield cut the other two to survivable damage.

By the end, with the Agitated buff that monsters get for low HP, his Weakened hits were often triggering Spirit Shield on their own, since they were hitting me for more than 1/4 of my HP. Thank goodness my avoidance is high enough that Regen II still managed to handle it with a few Cures thrown in.

And hey, my noodle gave me an especially good pair of Elementalist gloves. Nearly max prof, and halfway decent PABs. It's prof and accuracy bonuses are higher than my current gloves, but it's otherwise inferior. I'm not sure what to do with it.

Pissed Monsters are a pain in the ass. And having to face Conquest, Liselotte and the gang every second round does not make it better (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I can only imagine the devastation once monster skills are implemented. I think upgrading the monster class should be required after a certain power level is reached. As it is now, it's like fighting 3-5 enemies per round that have more attack power than a boss.
