Oh, it's one of your pre-nerf phase pieces (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Btw can you post your pieces to see?

QUOTE(marcho @ Jan 3 2011, 18:53) If I'm not mistaken, Razor intends to switch to mage-meltacular as soon as it is 1-shot viable for him, so my advice really only concerned levels 90-110.
and I have a 6.75 base evade priestess phase I offered to lend him, also what I was referring to :3
Yeah, I intend to switch over the one-shot maging as soon as I can start to do so. My only problem that I forsee is beating Endgame without maging (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif). Yeah, marcho did offer to lend me those priestess phase...I did not take it at the time cause I didn't know any better, now that I do, I think I might take up that offer (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Endgame is pretty easy as melee, has been for a long time (unless you were doing it as a tank like I was after the nerf).
Axe + Rapier + Evade. Load up on Scrolls and Infusions if you're worried.

Ok, thanks for the help. I was planning on bringing in Scrolls of the Gods (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) as well as Scrolls of Swiftness or some other kind of scroll and possibly some Infusions. I also was going to bring in mostly Health Elixirs instead of my usual Godly Health Potions because of the double duration. I'm fairly certain that I'll be able to make it through the arena, but I am just worried about the final round (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Don't know why I took so long to clear the arenas up to trio on BT. Well I took the day off, and after 5 hours I cleared all the arenas up to Eve of Death on Battletoads, which is not bad, considering 30 levels below, I needed more time just to clear BT trio alone. Worth it? No, not in equipment, items, or credits, but the XP was nice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by cmdct: Jan 4 2011, 21:19

I've completed the first two arenas on BT, but I probably won't complete the rest on BT until I am around your level (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) And yeah, the experience you gain must've been massive (like a 200,000-400,000 experience a round or something like that (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I know hito gained nearly 5 million experience on the final round of one of the arenas he cleared on BT...you probably did quite well as well in terms of the experience you gained on the final round of Trio...I'm betting somewheres in the 1-2.5 million XP range (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Worth it? No, not in equipment, items, or credits, but the XP was nice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I did Eve of Death on BT for the first time last week. I only did it because it looked bad with the others ones done on BT (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) on another note, BT Tiro still sucks for drops (no shock there) but damn it would be nice to get something other then potions. 55 19 You gain 1649 Credits! 55 18 You gain 1400838.49 EXP! 55 17 Your HP and MP have been fully restored! 55 16 Arena Token Bonus! [Token of Healing] 55 15 Arena Clear Bonus! [Godly Mana Potion] 55 14 Skuld dropped [Godly Mana Potion] 55 13 Yggdrasil dropped [Sapling] 55 12 Urd dropped [Godly Health Potion] 55 11 Verdandi dropped [Godly Mana Potion] 55 10 You are Victorious! Been thinking of doing End of Days on BT but I'm not sure I'd like that much pain, I'd like to do more damage too.

QUOTE(cmdct @ Jan 4 2011, 00:57) Depends of what part it is but: cap 5.5 robe 6 Gloves 4.75 Pants 5.5 Shoes 4.5 These are the base values where you can start spending hundreds of credits since they're rare. Above that it's even rarer.
Hyl's robes fit under that.
Actually this robe that i have shown has a base evade of 6.25, it's only level 184.

That's out of my league for now, like you say, it would be a pain to do it. QUOTE(hyl @ Jan 5 2011, 14:04) Actually this robe that i have shown has a base evade of 6.25, it's only level 184. I know, the max seen for robe is 6.75, but getting 6 is already rare and worth the credits.

I'm currently working on a Fine quality 42 round IW on Normal, which is proving to be fairly challenging....I haven't had to use any items yet, but considering the damage being sustained (about 150-230 a round at round 20), it is making me a little nervous about whether or not I can make it through the item...

Edit: Kevlar ofers less protection than silk, I use them because I can 1-shot mobs with the extra STR from them allowing to save me turns, and hits.
And how about max base proficiency anyone have information of them?

This is really the wrong thread for this, but whatever. I posted this in the equip thread awhile back. All values scaled to 250 (since base values for prof. aren't nice and uniform like with evade) Rough max values are: Head: 36 Body: 44 Gloves: 33 Pants: 40 Shoes: 29 This post has been edited by Conquest101: Jan 5 2011, 16:47

I definitely takes a different strategy than the preceding arenas to do on BT. Not to mention super high magic rating if you don't want to spend a month on it.

what would you recommend for gear? Fox, Evade, Demon-fiend, I was going to use demon-fiend and then my best dmg staff with 40% 3t. My magic rating using that is 749 (310 int +63 +10) i'll have to see what kind of dmg i can do with my fox gear again.

Battlecaster if you've got pieces with high MDM and high Light Armor proficiency, Fox if you don't. Naturally, you want INT as high as possible without sacrificing tons of WIS and evade, which should be a secondary priority.

1561 6 Arena Clear Bonus! [Average Prism Chainmail Chausses of the Stone-skinned] 1561 5 Invisible Pink Unicorn dropped [Unicorn Horn] 1561 4 You are Victorious! 1561 3 Invisible Pink Unicorn has been defeated.
Wow, I mean I got Superior Cotton for my Real Life BT clear, but at least it was Superior. That's just sad lol.
As I suspected, that was much more annoying. I chose to go with basically the same equip setup as I did vs Real Life, mix of Evade/Demon-Fiend. Mostly Evade. Foregoing the mitigation route. 8 Spark Activations.
I used Ragnarok, mostly since it required less juggling of spells and ET.
Hmm, I'll hold off on FSM for now. I want to do it with evade again, but most of my pieces are still underleveled. The question is whether to use Banish or Soul Burst.

You should consider Superior Cotton to be lucky since it's technically round 1. Doing Ring on BT is mainly for bragging rights. Personally, I think Tenboro should make the trophy drops internally record what difficulty they were earned on for an added quality bonus, which might make BT Ring worth it.
