Are you a mage? Are you able to one-shot mobs? I'm a pure physical player, so I rely completely on Health Potions and my Longsword to get my through the Item World.

Yeah, I'm able to one-shot mobs with magic about 1 time out of 10, and only with Tier two Electric spell.

I don't use mage yet because I don't one-shot mobs enough yet.

I'm not a pure physical player, but that is what I play most of the time.

I'm also tanking (wearing full Heavy Armor), so I get hit twice a turn usually, but I withstand most of the attacks fairly easily because of the high absorb and mitigation that I have, as well as other decent stats (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Lately managed to get through 110 rounds in an superior/average item world with a longsword.

Also did Fresh Meat and Dark Skies on heroic.

Heh, normal since I was scared. Could easily have done it on hard or heroic, I just wanted to be safe and not die on my first try.

36,389.12 exp is pretty lousy for any difficulty other than normal but then again I don't have exp hath perks, so meh.

There's nothing to be concerned over. All arenas now are a joke compared to their original difficulties. There was even a time when Endgame was considered impossible, on Normal.

You sound disappointed. I can't do most of the higher arenas past Heroic, and the few on Nightmare are close calls that are pretty much decided by second winds and gem drops. I do remember when you were doing like 100 rounds where the last 20 or 30 or w/e were bosses, but I didn't catch up fast enough to try that out.

Proficiencies for the two most important ones for me right now are near maxed for my level, the gear that I have is probably pretty close to as good as I can get and my Level is 91...

You really, really need to transition to regen and mana pots rather than hp pots. A godly mana pot gives me roughly 12 casts of regen, and each regen cast gives me 85+% of my total health back over its duration. One mana potion gives me roughly the equivalent healing power of 8 godly healing potions.

Also, light armor + evade + high action speed > heavy armor.

Get your curative prof close to your level, keep your interference low, and you're set.


edit: and by light armor i meant low burden/int armor, not actual light armor. derp.

Razor was asking for tips regarding survive longer as melee character, and magic rating doesn't affect regen.
