The amount of damage is still dependent of a roll, which means you got a very low hit, since even bewildered usually data rewrite is 1-hit KO. On the other hand the MBP blasted you (magical crit) with Global Warning, but for the record if you had bewildered him, the damage you would be ~1764. That's a huge difference.

I never said I survived data rewrite, only that it was lower than that particular global warming hit. But then again I had spark on during Yuki's data rewrite so I guess technically I did survive.

Check your math, 5291/2 != 1764.

i accidently survived data rewrite from absorb once.

1764 damage

add a scroll of the avatar or warding for another minus 25%, damage and even i can survive that.

I have less than 1500 hp, Because i neglicted hp tanks, but i did get every usefull buff and debuff spell

also i always use some elemental mitigation gear on the bosses, so i haven't been instant killed yet. (probably a problem when i am going to fight real life, because those soul mitigating gear are quite bad)

My math is correct and 5291/2 != 1764 still holds. Just that I didn't put the crit prevention factor into consideration (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
