Were any of those equipments notable at all? I'm not sure what your goal in doing Grindfest is, but for me it's items and artifacts. I just stick with Normal since that already gives me 65% Godly potions. You can one-shot everything with the lowest tier elemental pretty easily as well, so that would potentially let you play infinite rounds very quickly with no support spells, healing, or items required. You can do it on harder difficulties using the higher tier attacks, but then you eventually run into the problem of needing items.

I imagine I could have gone on for quite awhile longer, but 12k+ rounds would take me like 8 hours, which would probably make me gouge my eyes out.

I only do GF if I run out of arena/IW to do (so not often) But I did this one on Hard for the exp vs doing it on normal. I was hopping for better drops while taking the same amount of time. I don't have your level in training but I have an average of (54 rounds per equip) (440 rounds per artifact). I only use first tier spells when doing that but if I miss/resist they were hitting me with 30k damage. I've only done GF past 1500 rounds a few times (they put me to sleep and I don't like the exp or credits). So I'm sure I could play with my equipment more to see if I can one shot kill on Heroic or nightmare.

9 Mana Elixirs, 18 Scrolls of Shielding, 1 Scroll of the Avatar, 14 Diffusions of Divinity and about 14 Scrolls of the Gods. Clearly I was not ready to complete this challenge "legit."

With more levels of Pack Rat and a few Last Elixirs you could have dispensed with the Infusions and most of the Scrolls... but that would be rather expensive.

Just for reference, my latest achievements in the RoB (at level 182) are:

IPU: Heroic. 10 Mana Elixirs used.
FSM: Hard. 12 Mana Elixirs used.

In both cases I now have sufficient damage mitigation to be able to use just Silence, Regen and either Haste or Shadow Veil, with the occasional Cure. Interestingly, the IPU had slightly more HP, but was easier to kill, probably due mostly to the FSM being more resistant to Poison damage.

I have maxed out Pack Rat, so I still had three Mana Elixirs left. I do not have absorb, however, and while I agree with that Last Elixirs would have worked I only have a few of them. I probably need better equipment overall as well. 62% Dark Mitigation really wasn't cutting it even with a shield scroll up.

I can't remember if I've tried it on hard since the last update, but I recall not getting 100% kill rate on the first attack every time. Maybe I didn't have 100% accuracy or something. I can't test it now either because I can't enter Grindfest (I haven't even played it in 3 days... The rounds limitation is too strict.)

What was your holy mit Obagon? and did you have points in holy rating? Was regen enough to heal?

Holy Mitigation = 85.5% This includes having a 25% Holy rating from White Aura and Both tiers of Holy Spells
He usually hit me for about 170 dmg and Regen cured me for 84 (Cure Prof is 94.38 and including Holy rating)
His Crits hit for around 450

For Defence:
I kept Silence up the whole time [when it was resisted 4 times in a row(happened twice) I used a Scroll; I should have just cast Spark instead].

For Healing:
I kept Regen up the whole time and cast Cure I if he crit or double-hit me or my life dropped into orange(35%) for any reason.

For Damage:
I used Axe + Rapier for Bleed and PA+Poison
Bleed = 329 After Proficiency -> 204 Before Proficiency
Rapier = 25% 4 Turn -> 266 Poison Dmg (Deprecating Proficiency 105.32)

Real Life Defeated! (With a staff.)

I could have sworn I did this before, but I couldn't find any evidence of it, so I did it again (possibly).

Equipment:
Staff
Gauntlets

It would have been nice if I had a Katalox staff with that kind of damage, but I suppose I shouldn't complain. Can't remember exactly what else I used. It was a mix of Gossamer and Phase, and a compromise between Evade and high INT bonus (to boost my magic rating).

Using Silence was a bit iffy, so I used Weaken, Haste and Regen II. Bewilder, Absorb and Spark when required. Poison (obviously). Spark only triggered once, so no Scrolls or Spirit restoratives needed. I cast Soul Reaper and tried to get ET/Channeling whenever possible. Switched to Soul Harvest when it became clear that I had plenty of mana to spare, and ended up using a grand total of 2 Godly Mana Draughts.

IPU Defeated!

With a staff again. I wore all cloth Thice-blessed gear to minimise interference (except for a pair of boots, since my T-B shoes are crap). After some thought, I sustituted this robe to boost my magic rating a bit. Total Holy mitigation: 75%.

Unlike the RL fight, I could use Silence (as I had hoped). Needed Haste, SV and Regen II to keep up with the damage, but the mana usage wasn't a problem. Strategy was basically the same as before: I used Corruption and went for ET/Channeling whenever I could. After taking off 50% of its health, and having used no items, I switched to Pestilence to speed things up. From that point on I had to use 6 Godly Mana Draughts.

End of Days cleared

Got 10 trophies. Boo.

Feast for Crows cleared.
