Hell no. I go through items like crazy clearing arenas on battletoads.

I just cast thunderstorm and inferno until 1-2 mini-bosses are still alive

I think I see where I'm going wrong. I don't have tier 1 spells, so I have to use Column Lightning and Meteor. Nothing is left alive except for the occasional Manthra, so it can be quite hard to get Ether Theft in the later rounds.

IW is a lot easier... yeah just a terrible result as I´ve made as good as no exp. compared to an average IW, and
the credit drop didn´t even catch up with the average item/sell credit gain from IW...
IW is much more exp/cred efficient for me atm...

edit: almost forgot, my average IW round is 60 atm, with only lesser and average potions....

Round 99 on cake ):. Really wanted to get to 100 but couldnt q_q. DW fails in the long run, or should I say melee fails.

It was easier than expected.

The pots are burnt getting to the Final Round and the Boss. With DW, I save a few hundred MP in the early rounds by just straight DW meleeing through them, and then using the Rapier to clean-up the survivors from the opening AOE Blast on Turn 1 of a round. I use Tier II AOE magic so, there's nothing to get ET from, and it's 19 MP per AOE. The danger comes from letting a battle last too long and getting Crit Skilled, especially by a Boss.

I could be much more mana efficient but, I want my rounds done reliable quick, even if it means overkill magic blasts.

Yep, your problem are using the 2nd tier instead of the 1st one.

All cleared without items, and in the last round I did not recovered any simple point of mana via ET.
This is so mana eficient that I bet I could clear all the arenas until Kill a god without items.

Its a lot easier than fighting in the Ring. You just have to pay more attention since there are 4 of them and they have death procs that may or may not be something to watch out for (I've fought them over a dozen times and I still don't know if they really hurt that much...). Also, Ygg can cast heals, but nothing a little Silence can't cure.

My point was to show how the power of elementalist brings more protection than the extra evasion silk provides, but since you're showing your stats, I can estimate +51.6 evasion minimum in level 200 (Godslayer title included), and I current have +7.3% physical mitigation, but don't know if I can get the 10.5% at level 200, you have to show your gear so I can compare what scales for me.

That was with my staff. Without my staff I have +138.53.

Lol not only they are better in prof, but also better in physical mitigation(almost +2% more)
Oh well, at least my silk gear can beat you in evasion and I can still improve it with better gloves (still in level up program), and if I found better shoes, who knows what I can get (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
