I don't know if the extra 120% OC did anything to add to that, though. Or what kind of damage rolls I got with that Spirit. That might even be on the low end. But if I can deal that kind of damage consistently against IPU and FSM, they're toast. I just have to survive long enough to set it up, LOL.

I don't believe you can do the same kind of damage consistently against IPU and FSM, just because their weakness isn't soul like RL, so your Spirit attack won't do the same amount of damage, and the same for your ethereal as well.
Since they have much more HP, do more damage, and they are more resistant to soul damage, they're going to be much more difficult than RL, but hey, good luck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I just went in to check IPU out. Got about twice as much HP and my attacks do about the same damage as RL. So it'll be a longer battle, but I could probably whittle him down, too.

I brought the item load I always bring to Arena, and used them all, just to see how far I could get.

By the time I'd gotten to round 300, the monsters were hitting so hard that I had to switch to Chain Lightning over Thunderstorm, so I could prevent as many monsters as possible from ever attacking me. I needed to use almost half of my mana items just in those last 37 rounds because of the increased mana drain.

I also ran into White Bunneh on round 294:

That was hare raising. At the time, I'd forgotten that I had a Scroll of the Gods, so I just prayed that Awww wouldn't one-shot me. As you can see, it hit me for 98% of my max HP bar, but I survived. I couldn't afford to just Silence him because I couldn't risk being crit by his melee attacks. Even with Weaken they were hitting for 800-1000, so a crit would have been worse than that Bewildered Awww that hit me.

I'm gonna be hitting lvl 150 any minute now, so I'll be giving Sealed Power a shot today, as well.

EDIT: In an unrelated note, I got a glut of Blood tokens yesterday, so I gave Ryouko a try as a mage. Yeah, that didn't work out. Without PA, she takes crap damage from Banish. On top of that, her Impaler damage has scaled up a lot faster than my HP, since I killed her back at lvl 78. I don't have full HP tanks any more, but even if I did, I don't think I could have survived it's 4070 Cold damage without Spark. Maybe Frost Spikes could make the difference, though.

Judicious use of Chain Lightning and Flames of Loki made this a cakewalk. Used 6 Superior Mana pots. It was kinda fun fighting two bosses at once, though.

First try! This was easier than Mikuru (for me).
I used haste on me, poison and weaken on her, and used PA+Banish for damage. It cost me 4 godly
mana draughts and a mana elixir (with four left over). I used a Scroll of Life but didn't need it.

Yuki's next, but can I bring myself to hit her? I think she's awfully cute! Stay tuned to this thread to find out!

Ok that's it, I'm going to try this.

Resetting my ablity tree twice just to try is what I've been avoiding...

Hopefully it's possible with only 5 holy proficientcy

I DID IT!!!

I got all the holy spells and spammed banish after procing penatrated armour. I used my normal setup but swapped in a 24% kite shield, and my best raipier in terms of PA.

Kept her slowed, weakened and PA poisoned, and my self on haste. My overal chance of getting hit was quite low.

Apart from her spirit attack that caused Spark of Life to trigger, I took very little damage.

168 6 Your Spark of Life consumes some of your Spirit, and restores you from the brink of defeat.
168 5 Impaler hits you for 1746 cold damage.
168 4 Ryouko Asakura uses Impaler

Banish blasts Ryouko Asakura for 1787 holy damage.
Banish blasts Ryouko Asakura for 1362 holy damage.

Varies quite a bit.

I used only 4 mana elixirs, and one scroll of the gods and one scroll of the avatar.

I think I'll try yuki now too before restting my ablities back to normal.

Cleared Endgame and Twisted Plots in Battletoads. Really doesn't worth it.

And here is where i'm currently are :

Except for Endgame and Twisted Plots which i do in Nightmare or Hell, nearly every other arenas is done in the difficulty displayed on a daily basis, using only draught of course. Drops do not seem to be really better, but xp is.
From time to time, i happen to loose either To Kill a God or Eve of Death in Hard mode when i encounter a physical immune boss, but the xp boost really worth the risk.

Found Yuki Easier then Asakura...

It took me two tries. The first time she had about 10% of her HP left and hit me with a Data Rewrite
for more than my max HP, and with weaken/bewilder up, no less.
Second try was a piece of cake.

Gannonman is down, again so, no screen cap. I screwed around and nearly got myself killed at the beginning. I was (stupidly) trying to catch PA before doing anything else and it smacked me around a bit. I stopped that nonsense and dropped a Scroll of the Avatar and Scroll of the Gods, then caught PA, used Poison, then Weaken + Bewilder. From there, I just clicked it to death. I did have to re-cast Poison once, and Absorb caught an AWWW. (Played at Normal.)

Item used: 6 Godly Mana Draught, 1 Mana Elixir, got 1 Mana Elixir left.
Evaded 6 Mikuru Beam, 1 Time Quake. Got 3 Mikuru Beam and 2 Time Quake (1596, 1437 / my max HP 1772).
Normal strategy: Haste in Auto-Cast slot, Weaken + Bewilder + Poison, PA + Purge, Regen and keep my HP full when her spirit bar is max.

Invisible Pink Unicorn Down !

Wanted to try it out since i found the last piece i missed with holy resist, pushing my holy mitigation to 71%.
I took a very crappy rapier in my off hand (but i don't have any other rapier with >10% parry :/), and a not so bad bleed axe in my main hand (don't have anything else too :/). But it worked out, and with only 1 godly mana draught, 2 mana elixir, and a wasted bubble gum (just to test it's effect since i never use them).

Strat: Silence 100% uptime, regen ~100%, slow if my health dropped under 50%, poison when pa proc'ed, and some soul attacks (with pa).

Gonna try FSM when i have a complete gear set "of the Spirit-ward", which will not be anytime soon.

Longest Journey cleared. Way too mana-intensive for my Battlecaster rapier/shield combo though, so I probably won't do it again any time soon. Back to Twisted Plots...

In the Special Items department, I used a Vase, a Gum, and not one, not two, but FIVE Soul Stones. I figured since it worked so well against RL and IPU isn't weak against Soul, I might as well go for broke and use a bunch. And do you know what 840% OC does when beefed up by a Vase, Gum, and PA? This: You unleash REPPUU SEIKENZUKI!! on Invisible Pink Unicorn for 207577 soul damage, or about 46% of IPU's HP. After that, it was basically whittle it down to death with mini-blasts while I kept the beast Silenced and Slowed (Slow really ate through my mana, but it kept my PA up longer and reduced my damage so it was worth it).

Ended up using 3 Mana Elixirs (the third one was mostly wasted), a Shield Scroll (probably wasted if I had used up the Elixir instead), and I threw in a Dark Infusion for fun but was entirely unnecessary.

Equipment-wise, used my Ring DW pair. Save for my Kevlar Boots, I ended up putting on whatever random bits of Thrice-Blessed gear I had knocking around in my inventory (except for the Breastplate I purchased from Sayo) resulting in about 50% Holy mit.

Y'know, it would be cool if we got some sort of badge for completing certain feats. Titles are okay, but most of the time, we use Ascended because Evade wins over -Burden and -Interference. And if we don't keep Trophies as inventory fodder, they get traded in for junk. It would be nice to have a more permanent reminder of how awesome we are. And then when we collect them all, we can be Pokemon Masters, LOL.

Flying Spaghetti Monster Down !

Extremely long and mana intensive fight. I only had one piece of spirit-ward equipment, which was sufficient to let me keep my hp high enough with only regen 90% of the time.
My weapons were the same axe i used for ipu, and a new better off hand rapier.

Strat : weaken+bewilder+poison+slow+spark until my spirit fell under 45%, then silence+slow+poison+spirit attack as soon as my overcharge were at it's maximum.
Items used : 4*Godly Mana Draught + 8*Mana Elixir + 2*Scroll of the Gods + 1*Infusion of Gaia (completely useless, i hitted fsm for 90 with it).

On another news, i did Longest Journey on battletoads (10 godly mana draught + 1 mana elixir used), and also To Kill a God, Eve of Death and The Trio And the Tree on Heroic (between 7 and 10 godly mana draught used for each).
I don't think i'll be able to do them in nightmare anytime soon, because the difficulty gap is a lot bigger than between hard and heroic.

You have a lot of free time to be doing all that 2nd page crap on higher than normal, don't you?

The difference between Longest Journey and Dreamfall on Battletoads is fairly large as well. Takes forever too, which is why I've never tried it more than once.
