Twisted Plots done.

Items used: 3 Mana Elixirs, had to take a fourth but only used a fraction of it. Suppose I should have taken some less powerful items as well. And I had to take points out of Magic Tank to get everything in the new tier, so some of that mana was wasted. Anyway, I should be able to do it using only Godlies... still expensive, though.

I did this after just finishing item world, and totally forgot to heal (we should get a hp/mp restore after finishing an item world), so I started out with half hp and mp, yay. Yuki Nagato took forever to kill since without PA my ethereal did like 150dmg, and even with PA my offhand did nothing *sigh*. I was happy with the exp gains though - got about 1/7 of what's needed for the next level (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I guess that means spark of life will be necessary when facing legendaries :\ Boo for extra mana consumption. I might be able to get away with absorb... I have a 27% evade change, 38% resist chance and then with bewilder active it prevents magic crits which increase the chance of absorb being able to catch it, but that's risky business...

Ya I'd call that pretty damn lucky, you could probably switch to silence after all the other stuff is dead, the melee really isn't too hard to deal with when its 1v1, at the very worst you might get crit for close to 2k.

Not really... The best I have done with my heavy gear is around 110/150, or about 35 legendaries. I've got the impression that it has to be done with a staff, so lately I've been trying to increase my crap mage proficiencies.

Yeah, I think you just got lucky. I don't have to use Spark, but I typically get hit for a 5k spirit attack from both Mikuru and Yuki, and that is with 43% dark mitigation and bewilder.

I didn't focused at all ring of blood nor arena, because i wanted to attein lvl 100 as soon as possible.
This will surely be done tomorrow, and i'll probably be able to try Endgame.

6 godly mana draughts, 4 mana elixirs, probably could have used a scroll of the gods and saved myself one of the mana elixirs, but I'm not entirely sure on that.

And here I was enjoying not having to play those on Battletoads anymore. I can't say they're really worth the time and effort though. You'd think the clear bonus would also get a difficulty modifier as much trouble as they are to complete on a high difficulty. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Someone poor go suggest that to Tenboro. He just blows off everything I suggest that is beneficial to myself anyway, so it would be better coming from someone else.

KONATA DOWN!


I started the battle with a Scroll of the Gods, and used 3 Superior Mana Draughts (which could have probably been Averages since I ended with half MP, but I came as prepared as I could be), a godly Spirit Draught, an Infusion of Gaea, and a second Scroll of the Gods when the first spark expired, just in case Petanko Smash crit (which I just realized was a waste, since Weaken prevents physical attacks from critting).

I kept Weaken, Bewilder, and Poison up at all times. Poison was dealing 110+ per tick when applied during PA. My spirit attacks dealt ~6000 with PA up, out of her ~35000 HP. The Infusion of Gaea was awesome. It doubled my damage for 50 turns, since Konata is weak to soul. Sadly, without PA up that was still just 40 damage per attack, so I don't think using a Gaea infusion is equivalent to having an ethereal weapon.

Petanko Smash was hitting me for 820ish damage, but my 1412 HP easily took care of that (and she only used it 4 times, 1 of which missed). Timotei was hitting for ~350 since I had her Bewildered.

Time to try for Mikuru!

OMG that was a crapload harder than Konata. I had to blow all of my 3x Scroll of the Gods, 3x Mana Elixir, and 3x Spirit Elixir, and I killed her with only 6 mana and 500 HP left. Thank god 2 of her 3 Time Quakes missed, and she sat at 100% spirit for like 20 turns before her death (the one that got me hit for ~1000).

I also made a huge blunder right at the start. After using my first Mana Elixir, I was also ready to use a Spirit Elixir to recharge my Spirit Attack. Unfortunately, I accidentally double-clicked a Mana Elixir instead... while my first one's buff was still active! Considering how close I was to death at the end there, that would have been the difference between success and failure, if I'd had a little worse luck with Time Quakes.

Anyway, it's time to move on to Ryouko, but I'm concerned. I don't have an ethereal weapon, so I won't be able to deal noticeable damage to her with melee attacks, right?
What should I do to prepare to fight Ryouko?

I just beat Killzone for the first time, just a few minutes after qualifying. That was a whole lot easier than I expected - is it just me, or is Killzone actually easier than Power Flux?

Is it me, or haste is totally overpowered in arena ? (with 70 prof)

Since the update, I'm usually able to get to round 20 in grindfest on normal with help from the gems; before the update I very rarely made it past round 16.

To Kill a God Cleared.... ya Konata Ezmode, used 2 godly mana draughts, last 10 turns was me spamming depreciating to get rid of mana lol.
