I wanna know what rank I am.
Plus it adds some more competition.
Shouldn't be too hard if our ranks are already in the forum?
Just make it a colum in the memberlist and allow us to sort by decending level.

I need a hot-swapping feature to let me switch equipment during arena challenges, such as for using a two-hand weapon on the 1st XX rounds of a challenge and then switching to duel-wield or something else for the final round. I don't care if it can be done between rounds or if I have to do it mid round and let the monsters hit me 5 turns in a row. Having to use the weapon I intend to use on the final round for the entire challenge is super annoying when it's not the best option I have for dealing with large amounts of weak monsters. I don't really see the point in a level leaderboard, since almost all of the people that have gotten the farthest are either very active in the forums, and/or constantly in the toplists, anyway. Either way, they're quite visible as it is. I guess I'm not really interested because I have an idea of where I'd be on the list... A quick search of this thread using the keywords +spell +cost didn't bring up a relevant hit, so forgive me if its already been posted.
How about being able to see a spell's cost without having to jump into battle?

In Bazaar the ACCEPT button can be moved to the right of the cost x amount total text instead of 2 lines below (reduces chances of it being cut off on 1024 x 768 screens)

any chance of a setting to prevent re-buffing of spells over a certain turn duration? (e.g. if I set it to 2, I can't recast regen until regen buff says it expires within 2 turns or less)
prevents accidental doublecasting (lets say your fingers slip over your regen hotkey and bam there goes half your mana since you accidentally doublecasted it D:)

Berserker skills would be interesting. Double your physical attack, but double the damage you take. Double the mana cost, but double the spell effect. I've wondered why Focus and Defend aren't listed as skills.

replace-bar and other images-with-text-mode would probably reduce a lot of bandwidth used and load faster if you replaced images used with similar looking text images for example you could have a monster display look like Rabid Hamster 90 ---------------- ---------------- ----------------

or for comedic effect Rabid Hamster 90 (>X_x)> -------- ---
each of those bar type images is 4 kb while the text equivalent much less, saved a hentaiverse page to disk, 182 kb in pngs, 84 kb in html :P
(with a darker green font than the one I used, after editing all this that's some blinding green D:)

I know someone already mentioned it, but an auto-sell function for the bazaar. I am never going to keep Infusions or Spirit potions/draughts and it is tedious to have to click on each to sell. If going to the bazaar automatically were to sell all of them that are in my inventory, things would be much more convenient.

would be nice if there was a non-automatic way to do it too, e.g. buttons for sell all, sell all potions, sell all draughts, sell all items quality < godly, sell all items quality < superior, etc (on the different screens so sell all on spirit item bazaar would only npc your spirit items)

Not sure if that's really a suggestion or just me wanting to flex my web dev muscle on a boring Tuesday night that is surprisingly mild for where I live.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be for level, there could be leaderboard for grindfest record for each difficulty level, most deaths per difficulty level, most flees per difficulty level, most items found per difficulty level, interesting non-level statistics (since everyone probably knows who the top couple of people are already :P) It'd also have to reset every time there's a version update affecting combat (since difficulty of attaining a record would be different, could possibly save the old leaderboards for display by version) This post has been edited by XMike: Sep 23 2009, 07:16

how about a augmentation to weapons and armor. instead of hoping to find a weapon with an augmentation already on it.
like turn a simple crude or flimsy shortsword to a crude or flimsy shortsword with balance, slaughter, raccoon,
as the augmentation came from a scroll or an infusion of sorts
i.e. "infusion of the raccoon" or "scroll of slaughter"

What immediately comes to my mind would be skills that are paid with a % of your HP to be used, much like in the [ en.wikipedia.org] Shin Megami Tensei games (or atleast all I've played).. Sure, it'd cost more to cast the more HP you have, but then again, the attack power of those skills could be (largely) based on the amount of HP that is consumed when using it. There could also be skills that instead use a set amount of HP, probably increased in cost by level like spells, to be more appropriate for the low HP fighters (quick, light fighters come to mind). Other skill costs could be a certain amount of your overcharge gauge or spirit points.
