how about in-battle MP and SP regeneration except if they're available at upper lvl

a minimum percentage of regen is enough and

if there are Regen ability, it can increase the regeneration rate higher than normal regen

If said, sorry again, but Tombraider mode, 8 hours to search for a cache of items. At first you turn up junk pots and junk gear, but if you relic hunt every day you gain proficiency in Tombraiding and you slowly start finding more and better items/gear. 12 hour cooldown.

This way you can Train in montage or relic hunt, or spend the day and do both with some arenas/grinding.

Make it like Montage, search for gear, search for items, or search for credits. If canceled you don't get any items/gear/credits. I don't know if adding training i.e. scav, lq, qm % to the search would unbalance it, but even a gear piece that's 200credits, or 4 random pots, or 300 credit treasure chest would be all worth it for 8 hours to me since I have the time for those types of mini games, not for the main game anymore. I love the set it and forget it montage! More of that afk stuff would be awesome.

I thought of a nice idea for some weapons

slashing weapons have a bleed proc, crushing a stun proc, piercing an armor proc. adding to this, how about some "magical weapons" with suffixes like "of poisoning" "of weakening" of slowing" etc that proc the effect of the corresponding ability on the target. it could be a neat feature to widen the equipment horizon a bit.

Some sort of Blacksmith/crafting would be nice.
Nothing fancy... just pay some credits to raise equipment to the next quality level( from Fair to Average to Fine etc)
or add/enhance the effect the weapon class can proc.
So everyone could get some decent equipment without constantly checking the shop or lucky item drops^^

you know, there should be something we can do with junk equipment other than sell it to the npc

i would suggest a something where you can create random equipment by bringing raw material, iron, steel, etc to a blacksmith. The raw material can be obtained as random drops or from deconstructing equipment for materials. that could give equipment some alternate value rather than having it just tossed into the bazaar to disappear forever

Or maybe side professions like blacksmith and tailoring. so salvages items could be put to use in the creation of new ones.

Another thing i would like to see which is unrelated is the crediit cost for arenas you have previously completed removed. Why should we pay for entering the arena just to have a little bit of XP boost.

I feel that Spirit draught/potion needs some tweaking.

I mean seriously who uses spirit potion other than using it in cakefest round 1 and heal up your previously used up spirit points in order to prevent the massive crazy cost at the healer?

If it was intended to be like that then ok I got no problem with that but if we were to use it like how health/mana potion then it obviously doesn't serves it's purpose.

Right now I think maybe when we use spirit attack we can adjust how many points we want to use instead of just using it all. Like for example we can decide to use 15 points out of 40 to hit something. If we later on need to unleashes a full attack on some emergency purpose (mini/legendary in arena) then we can just use draught/potion to get full again.

I mean right now we have to bring a lot of spirit draught/potion if we want to heal it back up to max in battle after ONE use. I might as well just bring more health/mana items and stall it out it will most likely do better.

I think they were used in the Real Life battle but other than that i don't know. i never even fill my Spirit bar being a magic primary user it never goes up unless i have to whack stuff with mty staff which is only a last resort. Would be nice is spells raised spirit too so it isn't just a melee harmtouch.

This might have been mentioned before, but I ddin't really want to go through all the pages to search for it. Anyways how about a sorting option in the personal equipment inventory section? Something like what's available in the item or equipment shop.

Spirit attack is more useful than just that. Being limited to one and often way over kill is just unnecessary.

Yah the ones that were just added on the front UI. Defense and Focus. There more skills than anything else so i think they should be under the skill tab with Flee. So it doesn't clutter the UI and to avoid miss clicks. I know ive hit it when i wanted to click magic.

Good thing you read that.

QUOTE
Quickcast Bar

- A quickcast bar has been added to the battle system.

- You can either click the bitty icons directly, or use the keyboard hotkeys Alt-1, Alt-2... through Alt-0 to activate the spells.

- Note that Self-spells fire immediately, while other spells require you to select a target.

- You can assign spells to the Quickcast Bar from the Settings page. Mostly because this was the only way I could think of that wouldn't take hours to code.

Anyhow, suggestions.
This is something I wrote into the other thread about the Battle Buddy Script, most of it seems to exceed its possibilities, though.

QUOTE(flint @ Aug 26 2009, 22:22) *

A few suggestions (not being posted already):
1. How about showing the time you'll be able to do Montage again? Not only a countdown but the actual time?
Same for Training.

2. You could also add an indicator of how much Credits it would take you to train/arena/buy equipment/items. Maybe per scroll-over, so it wouldn't screw up the screen.

3. In the Character screen, you could show how much % exp/credit gain you have + all bonuses.

4. Prolly not possible for a simple script: adding an equipment-comparer on scroll-over (gear in shop/whatever vs currently equipped)

5. Show how much a health/mana/spirit tank/overcharge boost is worth in real numbers per scroll-over.

6. Estimated time for when your hp/mana/spirit bar is fully regenerated again.

7. Show how much your stats would increase by spending exp.

As you see, some of them are simply there to stop us from using our brain too much (doing math, that is).

Then, last night, it hit me with a completely new (not) and original (not) idea: Quests! (stroke of genius, I know.)

The pros of this should be obvious:
- another way to get credits + exp and loot/gear
- so far, users want some certanity they get something useful/worthy. This would give them just that via predetermined rewards.
- not imbalanced if it's reduced in usage (3 a day etc)
- since HV already has multiple ways to keep one entertained, this doesn't have to be very complex. Anything like "kill three tentacle monsters" or "bring me 2 [Quest Item]" should be fine.
- just as the increasing credit bounty monster drop and the decreasing of credit bonuses, this would reward the more active users and drag more people into grindfest.
- through the different difficulty levels, everyone can use this. (higher difficulty = better reward)

Post: The maximum allowed length is 102400 characters. So far, you have used 3067 characters. Wow.

Suggestion:

Add a hotkey to "click" the "Continue" button during a grindfest.

Here's a good one:

Different sets of Armor/Weapon.

We have X number of possible sets and, when you want to change your equipment, you should not need to change one piece at a time, but simply click on the sets that you want, Training Set, Cake Set, Arena Sets...

What do you think? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

How about loading up a predefined list of items too? I just triggered my last hourly battle and went to the HV window only to find it showing the item screen with nothing loaded (I forgot to restock after a Grindfest). Of course, a mini-boss would choose that moment to turn up... Since I didn't forget to turn the difficulty back up, it was a rather one-sided contest.

I like this, if you had a few tabs you could setup different gear configurations it could be very useful.

Wow...a lot of -IMO- really fantastic/not unbalancing suggestions recently.

I have a minor suggestion. Can monsters be listed by number instead of letter?
Since we're using numerical hotkeys to attack, which is a great feature.
