Oh and does anyon know what those open boxes below your info are for?
Good thing you read
that.

Quickcast Bar
- A quickcast bar has been added to the battle system.
- You can either click the bitty icons directly, or use the keyboard hotkeys Alt-1, Alt-2... through Alt-0 to activate the spells.
- Note that Self-spells fire immediately, while other spells require you to select a target.
- You can assign spells to the Quickcast Bar from the Settings page. Mostly because this was the only way I could think of that wouldn't take hours to code.
Anyhow, suggestions.
This is something I wrote into the other thread about the Battle Buddy Script, most of it seems to exceed its possibilities, though.

A few suggestions (not being posted already):
1. How about showing the time you'll be able to do Montage again? Not only a countdown but the actual time?
Same for Training.
2. You could also add an indicator of how much Credits it would take you to train/arena/buy equipment/items. Maybe per scroll-over, so it wouldn't screw up the screen.
3. In the Character screen, you could show how much % exp/credit gain you have + all bonuses.
4. Prolly not possible for a simple script: adding an equipment-comparer on scroll-over (gear in shop/whatever vs currently equipped)
5. Show how much a health/mana/spirit tank/overcharge boost is worth in real numbers per scroll-over.
6. Estimated time for when your hp/mana/spirit bar is fully regenerated again.
7. Show how much your stats would increase by spending exp.
As you see, some of them are simply there to stop us from using our brain too much (doing math, that is).
Then, last night, it hit me with a completely new (not) and original (not) idea:
Quests! (stroke of genius, I know.)
The pros of this should be obvious:
- another way to get credits + exp and loot/gear
- so far, users want some certanity they get something useful/worthy. This would give them just that via predetermined rewards.
- not imbalanced if it's reduced in usage (3 a day etc)
- since HV already has multiple ways to keep one entertained, this doesn't have to be very complex. Anything like "kill three tentacle monsters" or "bring me 2 [Quest Item]" should be fine.
- just as the increasing credit bounty monster drop and the decreasing of credit bonuses, this would reward the more active users and drag more people into grindfest.
- through the different difficulty levels, everyone can use this. (higher difficulty = better reward)
Post: The maximum allowed length is 102400 characters. So far, you have used 3067 characters. Wow.
