It would be nice if you get the experience for killing a monster when you kill it, rather than at the end of the round.

That way, if you die, you'll have gotten the experience. Obviously, you shouldn't get items this way, but it would be nice for exp at least.

It would be nice to get xp for killed monsters (annoying to kill 4/5 monsters and get killed by the last one and end up getting nothing)

Although that might be the price for allowing yerself to die (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Three suggestions, one that is reasonable, another that is probably a pipe dream, and a final one inspired by the pipe dream:

Reasonable suggestion:
Change the HP and MP tanks to +3% or +3 whichever is higher.
This would make them much more useful for lower levels and the latter more useful for non-magic-focused players. This is not based on self-interest, I would gain a total of 2 MP...

Pipe Dream:
Have it so we can spend credits to immediately improve magic proficiencies.
I still have to use Weaken because Shield is not nearly as effective. If I could lay down 20,000 credits for 10 levels of Supportive proficiency, things might change...

Inspired by Pipe Dream:
Have there be something that increases proficiency leveling rate.
It could be an ability, something we train, or even a Hath perk. I would be okay with anything. It could be as little as adding a .01 increase to every casting of the spell...

Judging from Ten's statements on equipment that I've read up on those pipe dreams might not be so far off. He did mention that the way equipment will be is that not everyone will have Super Sword ID 1001 or /we, but they'll be slightly diff. This leads me to believe the equipment could be something in like the equipment in Diablo where you have a chance to get equipment with X% of stat Y or whatever, which could mean it's possible that some of the equipment could boost proficiency gain rate for a certain school or whatever. I've also been reading up on proficiency gains and whatnot, so just to restate something I've read from Ten, your proficiency cap is your level, and proficiency gains occur less often the closer it reaches the cap.

But yea, with all the possibilities with the yet to be shown equipment you might be surprised by what turns out....and what better weapons to put such a bonus on than staves (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'm not sure I would be surprised. Those are distinct possibilities.
The problem is that the equipment system is some indeterminate time in the future. I'm sure Tenboro could whip up something which one could train or a hath perk in a lot less time...

100% item drop rate from boss enemies is my suggestion for improvement.

Ive been running into boss monsters alot the last few days and thats fine. Whats not cool is the fact that I havent recieved 1 item for the effort. The little bit of extra exp just isnt enough. It certainly doesnt have to be a good item but anything is better than nothing.........

i'd love to see the lower tier elemental ratings detached from the attacks once the higher tier elementals are acquired (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
i never use those spells, since i have the more powerful ones...be nice to have those 4 points to use on other things (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
i know that'll probably never happen, but i figured i'd mention it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You might as well think of it as costing 6 points instead of 5 to get that 10% boost.

Magic seriously needs more accuracy.

I mean, we're already spending MP on it, plus I believe it also hurts our speed where enemies get more attacks for the turn if you use a spell.

We're already paying for the magic. we don't need it to miss as often as our regular physical attacks.

And I still want that difficulty tweak. I hate it when my hourly battle is against something like "level 30 hamster/tentacle/whale wtf is this". And then I later end up fighting "LOLMANTICORE, LOLGHOST".

since monsters are about the same level as you are, you shouldn't have any problem keeping your action speed high enough to keep them from hitting you twice (and if you have it high enough, you can hit twice for one of their hits)

Only possibility of Party Creating I can imagine is using system like it was in Mordor The Awakening
It was single player Dungeon crawler
But It shared all single player profiles data like explored teritories and discovered enemies, sold items in the shop etc...

In the Inn you was able to hire other player [other profile] to your party and during the battle use him as another attack/suport power [up to 6 total party members if I remember correct]
But it was independent from other players game and all characters except the main one did not gain any exp and loot from that. Only way how to increase theirs powers was to play them as main characters in theirs perspective profiles
Apart that it was easier to have few characters as backup or cannon fodder !)

I like that fact that you can click on skill or item and then waste a turn.

It's good when you've got a weakened ghost or something and a regen potion that's got like 5 turns left. Skips those turns to get your health back. Otherwise you wouldin't be able to do much without killing the monster and wasting your potion/draught.

Most RPGs have a feature for this: Skip Turn button. The way it works now should be considered a bug, IMO.

QUOTE(bladejtr @ May 25 2009, 16:10) *

Just a thought, for casting spells instead of default being magic missile let people set a default, or after the first spell cast in battle if you just click magic and a guy, which currently casts magic missile, have it cast whatever spell you cast last. This would cut my clicking for spells in half nearly since I only cast like 1 spell.

Hello everybody, This is my first post. =)

Anyways, I really agree with bladejtr here, I was thinking there should be a quick skill/magic button, that you can pick a single skill/magic and have its little icon on the attack/magic/etc panel, instead of clicking through the magic menu each time, if you only use one primary skill/spell.

I apologize if this is an inappropriate first post.

Love the site, Love the HentaiVerse. =)
