QUOTE(Tenboro @ Apr 17 2009, 15:16) Spirit Points: (1 + POWER / 7 + (STR + DEX + AGI + END + INT + WIS) / 10) * SP Tank Modifier [...] Well it uses normal rounding. 100 + 14 / 3 = 104.6666... = 105.
Well, my current SP is 118 while it should be 119: CODE (1 + 199 / 7 + (116 + 106 + 103 + 114 + 35 + 51) / 10) * (1.0 + 15 * 0.03) = 118.796 Either I'm not as good at math as I think, either the SP formula is wrong, either the SP value is the only one that is rounded down (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Edit: most of my primary attributes have changed since I posted that message, so the values I put above don't hold anymore (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) But it's actually worse, because I now have 121 SP while: CODE (1 + 201 / 7 + (92+27+1 + 98+9 + 98+5+1 + 92+23 + 30+5 + 45+5+1) / 10) * (1.0 + 15 * 0.03) = 120.2257 This post has been edited by Hairs' Fan: Oct 14 2009, 06:48

The caclulation probably uses the exact values for equipment attribute bonuses, not the rounded ones you see on the main page.

This causes hell on my calculator program as well. Stop by the thread and look how many times since equipment was fully operational that I had complaints of one of the main stats being off by one. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I am not sure on this, but i am assuming Int will also make your cure spells heal for more, because it's the main stat for Magic Rating, and that the number that increases your magic damage. Could someone confirm this please?

INT and WIS do improve your Magic Rating, which increases your Cure spell's effectiveness. However, they are generally inferior to the main melee stats (STR, DEX, AGI, END). What I do is I keep my main melee stats at 100% of my level, and when I have enough EXP after doing that, I put a point into WIS, then INT. I let my INT hover around 65-75% of my level, and my WIS at around 80%.

INT/WIS also helps your magic defense rating as well; so it doesn't hurt to invest a little bit into that if only to reduce the damage jiggle does to you.

QUOTE(Ido013 @ Apr 21 2009, 04:03) I think the Attack Hit Chance requires too much to go up. I mean I still miss level 2 Blue Slimes a lot of times, and I already got an additional point of Attack Hit Chance...
Well,I hit 1/3 of the times, even though I have 50 in dex (51° level) and a weapon with +12% accuracy. When the mob evades two consecutive hits while you are anally raped by X monsters (even though your attack accuracy is listed as 78%) the frustration raise and the keyboard takes the beatings.... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Is there something that I'm missing? Some trick or bug which could raise a little the hit%? Or am I doomed to 3-4 rounds of grindfest? (The difficulty setting is 'easy' by the way...well,in hentaiverse "easy" has another meaning altogether)

(The difficulty setting is 'easy' by the way...well,in hentaiverse "easy" has another meaning altogether) You have roughly a 4 in 5 chance of hitting the monster why would you be surprised at consecutive misses..... And since I'm assuming your using a 2h weapon since you only have a 12 accuracy bonus from gear, I'd suggest you switch to dual wield. Look for something "of balance" for higher accuracy bonus numbers. And seriously way to quote someone from more then 6 months ago... This post has been edited by uth: Dec 12 2009, 14:27

Only because I read every single post in a thread...something that is rarely done nowadays (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I 'specifically' said that I miss two (2) attacks every three (3) and you say that I have 4 in 5 chance of hitting? Something doesn't add up,but whatever I don't want to argue over some free game,I only was wondering if I missed some trick or cheat or bug. This post has been edited by Mageta: Dec 12 2009, 18:03

I doubt you miss 2 out of 3 consistently so I'm calling RNG, get more hit from weapons and gear and you should be fine, your natural hit rate will raise with level, there's really not a whole lot you can do otherwise. And the biggest reason that quoting someone from that long ago isn't remotely applicable is that it would be from something like 15 patches ago, before gear implementation.
