You can read the wiki and ask in the Ask the Experts. PS. Actually, I don't really understand your question... This post has been edited by gc00018: Sep 27 2015, 19:32

Initial grind? The whole game is one big neverending grind. Proceed at your own risk, you've been warned. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Depending on how much you play, it should take less than 2 months to get to level 200-210, but some players can get that high in about a week. Since it is arguably the easiest fighting style, once you have increased your one-handed proficiency so that is it 200+, you then get up to three counter-attacks per turn, which is very helpful. From there the grind only gets worse as it takes longer to level up. However, there are some nice bonuses later on. For example, level 215 lets you unlock the last Better Silence ability, which targets up to three monsters at a time. For more info try asking the experts at https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=22234.

Do you know what you want to play as? Eg Melee or Mage as the first decision. If you can get some starter gear, then its fairly fast. Melee is generally the easiest to start with.

Not a bad patch as a whole. Though I have my doubts about Energy Cells and new perks' prices. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Repair all and monster lab changes are great.
Would it be possible to add the ability to exclude monsters from Feed All (like locking for sell all for weapons) ? I have a bunch of level 1 monsters and lose feed when pressing auto feed all since it keeps feeding those monsters which do nothing as they do not have the minimum level to activate.

As of this new update, I'm completely lost.
I'm a lv 205 mage with average gear (fine ebony + phase). Ever since I reached 205 I mostly stopped playing, only play a few rounds of the easier arena matches occasionally.
Before this patch I could beat the Lv 180 arena match on Hard. Now I can't even get past the 6th round in Lv 25 arena, on Normal, after five tries. Almost always got killed by a monster who made two hits in the same turn, sometimes one of the hit is even a skill...
My stats and gear is nearly the same before the attribute point reset. I also noticed my gear deteriorates a lot faster than before (probably because I die a lot more often?), and when I try to repair them, realized I don't have a single piece of material required to do so. Guess they never drop from monsters.
Went to the equipment shop to buy replacements, found some gear with crazy stats. Bought them, then realized gears have level requirements now. So visiting the equipment shop is now totally pointless - it's either gear hundreds of level ahead of you, or crappy ones totally not worth buying.
So now I'm not sure what to do. Maybe it's time to just quit? Haven't been playing much anyway.

General opinion was that low level mages got shafted by the previous update but i think some strategies for them have been been developped in the chat section.

Maybe "developed", but the choices are still between bad and worse. Mage just doesn't work at low levels given high mana consumption, low firepower, and high damage taken, especially past ~170. Using crappy averages and fines instead of at least Superior is surely an issue as well, though. This post has been edited by Superlatanium: Oct 3 2015, 16:08

Then just activate them. It's quite cheap at current crystal prices and renaming is free for low level monsters. They'll pay themselves just with the bindings they'll bring. Such a waste... This post has been edited by Ebisan: Oct 3 2015, 17:53

If you really want to play well, you need to switch to melee and then level up to 310-350, then get back to mages. If you don't care so much, just buy a unleveled Leg staff (wrong prefix one is very cheap) in WTS, or throw some GP in lottery to get a staff. Do NOT believe you can find equipment useful by yourself or in Bazzar.

I like the feed all monsters bottom, plus the all gift added to monster lab, but wouldn't the scrolls should have more time since they are special items? I mean, if I can have a long eff spell for 150 turns(protection) but with the scroll only 100 turns. Why should I spend the scroll? unless I ran out of magic points I think is not worthy. Same opinion for bubble gum and flower vase.
