QUOTE(Shinko.Aelith @ Jul 27 2015, 12:17) Nymphaea
QUOTE Now I move Can this part say "My hips are moving on their own"? QUOTE pubic fund Lol, is that a typo or is it a real thing? Anyway, those translations were hard to understand in some places. Are we supposed to make up what we think they're saying when translations are bad? Also, I was looking at the images to match up the script but the guy was getting me turned on. Jade Curtiss, wow. Here's the first round with the corrections/suggestions in red text. [attachmentid=68251] EDIT: I cleaned it up a bit. Some of the dialogue was weird but I did the best I could with what I had. I only went through page 4 and I have to agree that the translations were difficult to understand. You can change the whole sentence completely if you think your sentence will fit in better as long as it doesn't completely go off from the original. Looking at the original image does help. Shinko.Aelith, I've actually already done the proofreading for Hime-sama, Obenkyou no Ojikan desu. I got the script through PM on 28th April and I got it done the same day as far as I can remember. The script posted here is the original one without any changes from my proofreading. I don't have the copy of my sent items with me so check your inbox.

Thanks a lot for your help Sesshomaru, I'm really grateful (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And sorry for my late answer, I can hardly connect atm... Feel free to claim your reward when you want, you deserve it ! ^^ QUOTE(CrimsonClown @ Aug 10 2015, 18:52) Shinko.Aelith, I've actually already done the proofreading for Hime-sama, Obenkyou no Ojikan desu. Don't worry, I'm not forgetting your proofreading, but I just wanted to have the original script checked by someone to check the accuracy of the translation before adding your changes (I should have done it before but I couldn't find the good timing since I've been accepted to the engineering school I applied for, my life is a bit messy with all the things I think about now)

As for the editing, I'm still not completely satisfied with it in a few places. If someone accepts the bounty to check the translation and provides a better script, let me know, I'll do some additional work on it. This post has been edited by Sesshomaru Moon: Aug 24 2015, 20:56

I have a script in need of proofreading. I glossed over it a bit myself and the grammar might need some touching up. Stand Zukai Homura Jojoka: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=181259QUOTE [Neet Corp (Outou Chieri)] Stand Zukai Homura Jojoka (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure & Puella Magi Madoka Magica) [Digital]

A story about breaking the "Curse" ---
In the beginning-- There was a "Curse". Some said it arise from hate and sorrow, a "Wish" that invites disaster.
While others- Said this "Curse" is just a "Price" paid.
Regardless, sooner or alter, this "Curse" needs to be broken. Or the "Curse" wins.

I don't remember which "timeline" when I first met "him". : Nyan~ nyan~
Then the frozen time begins to move... I don't mean from "Now" to "Future".
This is the story about breaking the "Curse"-

... No, nothing changed, "Protect Madoka" is all I am... There is still a chance to save Mami Tomoe.
Although I'm curious about this man... Right now I have something I must do... Save Tomoe-san for Madoka's sake.
== Page 9 ==
: You saved me, sorry... but no time to explain. : Head back, like on a tightrope, from which you came.
: ... She's gone. : Is she also a Stand User...?
: Em... From the looks of it she knows a thing or two.

The Witch is here!! But not yet "Checkmate".
"Four seconds" left! If I don't save her now, I can't stop time again. Need to save her during this time stop. "Three seconds" left. Everything's over when time restarts!
"Two seconds" left.

Aftewords: Greetings- Greeting- How are you doing- Outou Chieri here. Thank you for buying this book.
Jojo All Star Battle will release this month, and Rebellion Story release date has been confirmed too. I want to have fun soon!
Anyways, the reason I made this book was because my love for Homuhomu. She hits me right in the bulls eyes. Somehow Homuhomu never needs rescuing in the original story, But I want to see a story where she was! What should I do? Isn't it sensible to introduce Joestar, with his invincible Star Platinum? A senpai who also uses Time Stop, go with this angle. A silly concept from which it came.
By the way, at current rate, this series will take 2~3 years to finish. I'm such a fool... But I feel like I'm drawing a story that I want to read. See it to the end. "Preparation Complete"! If you feel any "Attraction" towards this book, I'll be grateful if you can remain patient with me.
That's it. Mami-san is the main character next, "I'm Not Afraid of Anything Anymore". So long! This post has been edited by 8055: Oct 6 2015, 13:49

Not trolling but you guys actually having trouble finding proofreaders? It might help if you didn't post your scripts out in the open like this. Link to them or post a file instead.

So why do you think it would be better? I'd think that posting them in the open is the most friendly way - no need to download anything, or to to another site.

The simplest reason is much less clutter. All the scrolling needed to view these threads or copy paste a script to a text editor is ridiculous. Another reason, which may just be how I feel about this, is it takes the fun out of it. Best way I can describe it is it doesn't feel 'exclusive' this way. " I'm not the first person to read this and I probably won't be the only one proofreading it." And not only has it already been read by many, your work can be scrutinized. Someone might disagree with a change you made. Then it's like, who's doing this, you or me? That's why I don't proofread or re-edit anything publicly posted. The way I see it, the damage is already done once its out. I bet people would be more interested if you either asked them personally (like we have to do with translators) or announce a new script is available for proofreading and to PM you if they want to do it.

Also you should change your bounty from standard to editing. That is what you need after all, an editor.

So how do we tell if the script in this thread is already proofread by someone? I'm interested in trying out one, and I do have some Japanese knowledge too.

I suppose a master list per user/group with linked pastebins would suffice. Strikethrough links could indicate completed bounties. This post has been edited by 8055: Oct 20 2015, 05:03

Well, I try to update EHCOVE's once a week or so, check the top post with the date of last update. If you find an uncrossed script, go to the thread and see if it has been proofread yet (and I didn't get around to crossing it) or not. Our proofread scripts are always posted (by the proofreader) in the thread they were released in, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle (CTRL+F is your friend...).

Unexceptedly, Krizalid did proofread and edit the two scripts I posted here, and I'm really grateful to him/her. Still, it happened because someone asked Krizalid to do it, saying it was done anonymously. Here is the request (I think the links are probably hidden by the -snip-) : Of course, help is always welcome, and as I had internet problems at that time as I moved, I couldn't work on those script, so I can understand why people could get impatient and ask someone else to do it. But, if you do it, please : 1) Ask permission : I'd probably have accepted as I wasn't really able to do any edit during the last 3 months 2) Don't say it's an anonymous script : after you asked, I would have given the name of the translators, proofreaders, and contributors of each script. It's being respectful to not forget them. I think it's obvious, but seeing this "Trevor" from Krizalid blog, there are some people here who probably don't think so, even if they don't mean any harm... I wanted to announce my availability in case anyone needed a proofreader. I don't think I have ever mentioned this, but I actually have done proofreading for translated novels.
I utilize both MAPE and manual proofreading techniques.
The only thing I will not proofread is guro or other "offensive to everyone" tags. Please also send me the text as word processor or text file. Or you can send it as a pm, forum post, Pastebin, or google doc. It makes it faster if I don't have to OCR or do a weird file conversion.
P.S. MAPE = Machine Assisted Proofreading and Editing.
