I play as a mage cause is so much faster on the Arenas, in which i usually level up, melee is definitely stronger at this lvl but i can´t stand to kill monsters one by one. My future will be mage cause i like it.

Still loving them both as they each test me on different levels and at different times, and that helps me to keep the game fresh.

I self farm all my melee gears apart from the rapier. Not that great though, just a 20k worth normal one.
PF can only hold up to 25 rounds.

If you wish to have decent gear, you will have to buy it from other players. Otherwise you'll be stuck with crappy Superior/Exquisites, especially for rare equipment types.

Yeah I have just realized that I could trade on the site like 2 months ago. I just farm from drop or grab in the market before. However base on what I've searched, DW type item that is better then mine are either too expensive (>200K) or not really that much better then mine... (selling for 50k yet worse then my self farmed armor...really?). Don't feel like spending 100k for just a minor upgrade.
Really want to upgrade my main hand, but an nice etheral club of slaughter is a bit......costy.
I'm using full set shade and both hand etheral, all exquisites except a mag helm just got today.

Your level is such that you have the potential to earn 200k/day, so upgrades from selffound trash tier shouldn't be too prohibitive. Also, if you wish to be able to play PFUDOR or IWBTH you should use 1h. If I had switched from DW/Negation Shade to 1h at 200 instead of struggling through with it until 280 or so I would have been a whole lot happier. DW is just not good enough when monsters hit as hard as they do. Still, of course it's up to you.

I was able to start off and continue as a mage from the start, aside of course from that brief stint at the beginning with no gear whatsoever. So my melee profs are in the toilet. Of course, having a mish-mash of phase gear helped a lot, but I haven't found much in the way of (level appropriate) replacements yet so it's getting harder. But the hunt for gear is part of the fun.

I do a lot of melee with my staff. Problem?

Melee had the best physics and feel to the game, but after that I think the Wii u version is pretty good. It has Ryu.
