Nice to meet you それとも good morning, this is Takane Nohana.
Thanks to you all, I’ve been able to print a second book.
When I sent the last book to the publisher, I decided at the last minute “I’ll just post the afterword online!” so I’ve been thinking about doing a proper afterword.
There was a KanColle doujin that I needed that came out, then one week later one of my favorite commercial releases did too, so this has been a heavy release schedule that’s been hell on my wallet. Getting Uji Sakamoto to draw the guest portion of my work was no easy task either. I apologize, as I’m a poor excuse for the man himself (bow emoji).
Speaking of KanColle, this time I drew a story about Hibiki.
After Summer Comiket, I started playing KanColle and got totally hooked, lol.
I LOVED Inazuma-chan, but there was something about Hibiki’s style, her revival abilities and how she countered damage, that really spoke to me.
She’s such a delightfully taciturn and cool character, I’m head over heels for her, lol. So I had a lot of fun getting a chance to finally draw her! (party emoji)
So, about the story this time…
I guess the high concept of the story is about compassion for people who were extradited to the Soviet Union after the war, after war prisoners are extradited like that, how should they be treated?
I wanted a chance to tell a story like that.
But I’m not a military otaku, so there’s a lot of stuff in here that I probably got wrong despite my best efforts (humility emoji).
I hope that this will be the first part of a three-part story.

I will probably consign the second volume to Melon Books and Toranoana.
The title’s the same, but the cover will have a sort of fake feel to it to conceal it. “!” The exclamation mark will be used so that you don’t mistake the two. (some kind of emoji)
