318 pages...If that's how I become a staff member, by going through all pages to find level 200. Then I am sorry to say, but I am taking down my requests to be a staff member. I am not spending hours going through page by page, scrolling down every single page.

   They have 4 - 6 hands? Need some restriction. See [5] for what I suggest.

   We know they do not need that many. How they use it? I think you all know. Should either reduce the potion per request, or limit it to 2-3 times ever.

   I think if FS give them everything, the newbie do not have reason to grind for credits and/or armor. How about change it to 3 pieces. So that they need to find the remaining pieces. At least for the active player who want to get fully equipped within the same week. This is also to prevent the completely collapse of mid-level market.

4. requesting gears every weeks unlimitedly.
   It is obviously that newbie do not need multiple set of gears.
   How about limit a players to 3 requests forever.

I very much like the table/grade request method - it is much easier to understand for a newbie looking at it the first time.

Could be, but since the Freeshop is only "kind of useful" for someone starting naked, rather than "near essential", and since it's only for players under 200 (who also don't have 20k to spare to buy basic equips from other beginner shops) - I doubt it matters much. It's not a bad idea, it would just be so rarely (if ever) used and be worthwhile to that player.

Those are really some good ideas, some of them are way to good, and others have their details... im gonna try to let you know every single point i have about them:

100% Agree with you: i have found out some ppl requesting 1 etherel weapon, and then a normal weapon and a staff... da hell!? i tried being mage long ago, but now im married ith melee style... and i dont have time to try mage... thats my case... but what do ppl do with a mage staff and leather or plate armor? that just doesn compute... so yep... ONLY 1 WEAPON/STAFF.

Mhhh... i will be glad to make the second one: only request them 3 times... but pretty sure ppl will go with reducing the amount instead of not getting them... so i think they could be like this:

*They can request 2 potiont packs with only 100 in each kind of potions
*They can request THE potion pack: 100 of each potion health/mana/spirit... so 100 x 3.
*The Montly potion pack: 500 of each and no more potion till the next month

And if your first idea were to win:

*One time Potion pack: 1000 of each potions and that it.

Those are options... and it will help me a lot reducing my time on sending stuff... a LOT!.

OK... this one sounds complicated... not because i dont understand what you point there... but pretty sure we will have non native speakers or dumbasses that wont undertand them... mainly the grade stuff there: i find it hard to get it (i bet more if you are a newbie... and dont read the rules)... and a ot of questions will arise from that new system... so bet it needs a deep thought and the adaptation of it to FS rules... so maybe... but lets see.

Yeah... those are pretty clear rules... but the part about th table being comlex to most members... that must be considered.

I did that mistake when i was very new(sold exclusives still not sure how it happened) and I tried to compensate for it see my MMs below
Sure it was only exclusives so I wouldn't have been banned for it any way, but it still felt bad and it could just as easily had happen with higher tier items.

These items I requested when I was a great noob, I think I accidentally sold (not understandably really for me especially since I think I still would be using the shade item,but I must have accidentally sold them by pressing sell all sometime a longtime ago because I haven't done that in quite a while)

You might not really care for items of this quality, but I feel bad over it and want to make up for it.

I'm trying by sending all items I have that is close to the ones I sold and on total worth 10 tickets more than what I got.
This is for compensation for taking your time and maybe returning weaker items than what I got (not sure), I'm not returning any shade items for example since the closets one I got I'm still using.

I sincerely apologize for this and if you feel I haven't done enough will you please answer with what more you believe I should do for compensation. Otherwise you certainly doesn't have to reply since I know you are a busy volunteer.

Thank you for all help I received so far and I do intend to donate a lot of Items after I reaching lvl 200. That is a promise.

I think these 10 Exq Leathers are worth 10 more tickets than what I received.

10 - 3 = 7 for the 3 Exq Leathers I received from the shop.
7 x 5 Tickets = 35 Tickets - 25 = 10 for the Exq agile shade item I received from the shop. Plus 10 extra as an apology.

To make it clear: I DON'T DESERVE/WANT ANY TICKETS FOR THESE since It's a return/compensation for me screwing up.

So it could absolutely happen to someone by mistake, so I think it would be a good rule, but you should only be allowed to do it once. Otherwise people might take advantage of it by "borrowing"(stealing) a good mag/leg item and returning a crappy one over and over again.

And now when you're thinking about doing a huge rules update, I believe the tickets per donations should also get an overhaul so FSH hopefully gets a more rounded out inventory (Those that are in overflow (leg leather anyone? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) should receive less and what's in short supply should receive more.) I just mean a one time update not constantly updating it for what's too little/too much of at the moment.I'm sorry if someone already suggested something along those lines but I've miss it in all the text. That is just a suggestion. Not an actual update (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The token system is run by the first FS staff (animeai) alone. Although the current staff keep updating the token value, they cannot do any event related to token. So, better leave it un-touched.

The purpose of this freeshop is to help newbies. Since it may be hard to decide is someone newbie, especially for someone who is not active in forum for at least a year. The starting members of FS decided together that anyone who level < 200 is newbie. To enforce the efficient and prevent abuses, most of the rules were also developed. Although the wording changed a few times, the meaning of the rules have never changed. And the rules cannot be changed by a single staff anyway .

The FS account is different from other account . It is not bounded by some rules (e.g. multi-account), but it also bound by extra rules from 10b and it can only send and receive item from/to players. And the staff is not the item owner, if some staff want to help someone that not fitting the rules. The staff need to help by himself, not using FS resource .

The running of FS in the first few months was smooth, as there were more active members and the rules are completely objective. However, since the advice of varst, the decision become partly subjective. And it leads to trouble situation from times to times . Not sure is it related to the leaving of staff. I think it's times to review the current rules and how to prevent abuse soon .

Besides that FS also give some problem to other HV players.
1. FS completely kill the mid level market .
2. The concept of item value for some newbies are twisted , as they think exq items are common. Some of the newbies also think receiving free items is a must .
3. FS increase the amount of multiple accounts and botters as they do not need to send gears from their main account so the risk is lower .

I think those should be considered if rules are going to reviewed .

I have find people sending free stuff from Aria's freeshop many times. I could not report all of them. Because the links were removed shortly.

Too many items in this one (FreeSHop) so it is not practical to check it manually.
Possible to do it with script though.
