The first anime I got to see was the movie Tenchi Muyo in love when it first aired on the SciFi channel back in the 90s. It didn't explain the characters at all, so I was lost when I first watched it, but it beat the hell out of watching regular cartoons. lol.

I remember watching sailor moon at my aunts house a long time ago. As for me actively seeking an anime out, probably Dragon ball. My first time seriously getting into anime was Claymore.
