the first one was probably Pokemon (on TV) and the first one that wasn't on TV was actually Lucky Star (which is kinda odd for a first anime if I think about it)

Technically Totoro, but for consistently watched, probably Pokemon. I really don't know why that show was show fascinating. Probably because the next best thing at the time was Ren & Stimpy.
