Literally the first anime show I watched was Dragon Quest 2 when I was 5 years old. Didn't actually start dedicating anime as an actual hobby though until I watched Paprika.

My first was technically Sailor Moon. It wasn't until Naruto I realized that anime was an actual thing. A few years later I dropped Naruto in favor of better shows.
