My first anime was technically the stuff I saw on Toonami when I was in elementary school, and the original Pokemon anime (showing my age lol). But I consider my 'gateway' anime, the thing that got me into fandom and the nerd community, was Soul Eater. ^__^

First I ever saw on TV was Dragonball Z on Toonami, first one I finished was probably Death Note. Bleach was the one that got me interested in anime at a young age, though in retrospect the pacing was kinda shit.

First anime I've ever laid eyes on was probably speedracer. First one I watched to completion was Big O. When I was growing up, everyone around me who liked anime was into DBZ and the like. I just had a preference for the more realistic animes.
