Hrmm.... Fist of the North Star.

Akira was the anime that got me hooked.

I will openly admit to Gundam Wing being one of the major reasons I watched anime. Slayers/Record of Lodoss were my first real anime crushes (there was this other one called Tenchi... something or the other, but they ended up being asshats and we don't speak of them in polite company).
