Me and my brother watched the ones shown by our local channels first, started around Voltes V, Daimos, Bubu-ChaCha, etc., and also some on cable channels like Ninku and Cooking Master Boy.

We started collecting anime when Haruhi started popping out on pirated DVDs on malls.

Friend of mine was big fan of anime and I can remember him watching Hellsing and FMA but I never really got into it until I came across Ghost in the Shell demo for Playstation 1 and it made me curious enough to check out the anime..... which eventually lead to watching many many more.

Classic Speed Racer series, I know its a novelty but it was my first anime. Although the dubbing was hilarious, it was a watchable show.

Dragon Ball. And boy I guess there my hentai fantasy started. I mean this perverted episode with Son Goku removing Bulmas panties. After that I bought Step up - Love Story Manga because I could get them very early before they realized they should be made 16+. But that didn't matter anymore I already had a huge collection of fap material. Later on I learned there is much better stuff O.O

I'm one of those people who started off with Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon (pretty easy to guess where and how with that mix). I'm not actually sure which of the three I saw first, though. I just kept watching anime as I grew up after that.
