I have a question about curse weaving. It seems like if you aren't a staff user then your proficiency won't ever be high enough to get 100% chance to land a 3rd depreciating effect right?

If your prof is at your level, then you will always have 100% of landing the 3rd effect. Anyway, that whole mechanic might be scrapped soon.

Proficiencies cap at your current level?

Base profs, yes. Does not take into account spell profs from armour/staff.

I did not think I messed up on anything, but to keep the peace and in the spirit of amity, I made an offer which piyin accepted. Took advantage of, really, but that's water under the bridge.

1.- If charity is and advantage for this shop... yes i did... if you put it as if you take advantage... well my grumpy is still there if wanna summon it.

2.- not quite a messup... but a clear case of stolen goods (well not like that)... lets say something that falls under politics that werent stated and rules that werent there... plus a somewhat favoritism (well not like that.. but neither way to negotiate with a customer).

I just realized that the thing about the 3rd effect. (1*1) - (2-2)*.15 . For some reason I thought it was (1*1) - (2-3)*.15

This let me to believe there was a way to keep 4 debuffs running at once. (Which is possible with a staff I guess)

Well I guess I'll grind some more proficiencies and give the bosses another shot soon.

You can have any number of debuffs running at the same time. As a DW melee going up against FSM, you have the 2 weapon procs (in my case, Bleeding Wound and Penetrated Armor). Weaken, Silence, and after I've hit him with Skills, Blindness and Spreading Poison.

It's a question of whether you can renew the spell-based debuffs (the melee and skill procs affect, but are not affected by, curse weaving). Cast it enough times, and chances are you will hit the guy.
