Alternatively, if you want to try and use your current machine, you can set up a SSH client under Cygwin and start issuing commands without actually logging in, which might solve the problem (I don't think the Putty program you're using can do that)
Wow! This is still ongoning. (just kidding, actually I did read the thread and know that you're trying again from the scratch just to get the hang of it). Sorry I have been absent recently...
Once again I will agree with Tiap. That "stdin: not a tty" will be most probably overcomed by sending one command at a time. i.e. setting up a Cygwin and then an SSH client.
But think with me for a moment here. You have two major objectives here, the 1st is to get used to Linux/Unix and the 2nd is to run H@H. Why don't you try installing a Linux (in dual boot with windows) on your machine? It will have a bunch of advantages connecting Linux to Linux:
* no need for putty, there will already be an SSH client present
* no need for Winscp/bitwise client, there's already scp by default
* if you install the same flavor on the server and on your machine you can test the command on your own machine first
And be sure that an Linux installed from a distribution comes waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the issues we have been facing here.
