Could someone make some modifications to this to vary the colors of things like suffix and prefixes and of PABs? I want to say, for example, make "Slaughter" red, "Shade" olive, etc and for each of the PABs (STR, DEX, END, etc) a different color?

Maybe have it read the output line and apply individual user settings? Like from a color/preferences menu:

The successor to this script has an independent UI (accessible in/out of battle), similar to how HV Shop System has a separate page.

There will be full inventory support (not just equipment) and MoogleMail integration (within the UI).

I'll be done with my undergraduate education soon and will review the backlog of suggestions as I make progress.
If you want a particular feature added/fixed/modified/stolen from another script, it'd be wise to say so soon™.

Oh no I can't update my shop anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) If you can get a new version of HVMSH
that works with the latest version of HV, I'll donate to you at least 2 million credits... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Though you'll have to wait a few days before I pay because it takes me a few days of
grinding to reach that amount. What's missing from the script I think are some base value
stats like the ones for Savage, Mystic, Agile, Swiftness etc which were introduced a while ago,

(with base value stat I mean eg &PC that for eg a Legendary Demonic Wakizashi of Swiftness
returns the value 23.44)

and now we have a durability/condition stat as well. Yes I've been dying for an inventory
feature too though this far I've survived by using some arcane tricks in notepad++ which
is why I have a semi-automatic way of pasting my inventory to my shop. The trick is using
regex commands like the ones within the hmtl quote below AND the notepad++ plugin
named TextFX which has a feature named 'line up multiple lines by (=).
HTML
^(.+)\r\n(.+)\r\n(.+) and [b]\1[/b]\2=[b]\3[/b]

Anyway I look forward to have the HVMSH script do the inventory instead which would save me a few
seconds. I can also think of more features but the ones I mentioned above are the most critical.

If you have time and if it's even possible or even desirable,
it would be nice (for me at least) to have two or three tag
columns as opposed to the current only one tag column.
The final result would be something like this;

Additional features I can think of include a base value stat for each of
the following (I'm not sure some of these already exist but anyway);
(again, with base value stat I mean eg &PC that for eg a
Legendary Demonic Wakizashi of Swiftness that returns the value 23.44)

weapon proc type (Bleeding Wound, Stunned etc) base value
weapon proc chance % base value
and it's duration base value

weapon siphon type (of the Vampire, Illithid etc) base value
weapon siphon chance % base value
and amount siphoned base value

PXP level base value
number of item world rounds base value
butcher level/swift strike level/overpower level etc base value

equipment current durability/condition eg 157/210 (75%) base value
Bound/Unbound base value
the six below may be missing but I'm not sure;
STR PAB base value
DEX PAB base value
AGI PAB base value
END PAB base value
INT PAB base value
WIS PAB base value

If you're curious about how I'm using HVMSH, you can look at my shop.
I use it along with the HV - localStorage 1.0 script because there's no way
I'd remember all the price and tag data for each piece of equipment.
I use just one line of text regardless of which equipment category I apply it to;

Hi ctxl, I'll be gone for a while ( unexpectedly ) so you won't be hearing from me until week 26 or so,
but I'll get back at grinding those 2M by the time I'm back. This may or may not be a problem,
it depends on when you'll get the script working again... which may be soon ( or never (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ).

All those things I said were outta memory so they're not very accurate, the reason of course being the HVMSH script is broken. If it weren't, I could examine more closely what's missing and what's not etc. So for the time being I'd settle for just a working script as well. But ultimately all of this shit is up to ctxl, I don't know a fucking thing about programming.

I can confirm that these suggestions will be implemented in the next update:
- Fresh equipment data from the wiki
- Equipment condition
- Additional fields for custom user tags

Due to the changes in the latest patch (and to be better prepared for future ones), I've decided to separate all functions into an independent window.

It's a fairly extensive overhaul that--at the moment--does a lot more than just spit out BBCode for shops.

There will be a way to easily migrate existing HVMSH data to a more efficient format.
Shop keepers will also need to update their equipment-generating syntax to something a little more logical.

As for progress: I'm currently going through a number of UI/design iterations.
There's a lot of information to display, and making it all look nice is quite the challenge.

The underlying window<->window communication framework is functioning and currently split into separate files, to save the trouble of having to maintain separate versions for Chrome and Firefox.

Updates in this thread will be sparse as usual, but any posts I make in the script thread will be a good indicator of what aspects of the project I'm working on.

tl;dr: new update in a few weeks. it'll be worth the wait.

Since it's been so long, I've taken the liberty of hacking together a version that works with the current patch. Only tested with Firefox v31, but nothing I changed should impact compatibility.

- There are also 3 new tags:

$COND - the equipment's current condition

- Increased the max length of text in the search filter from 8 to 32
