whoa...this is fantastic (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'll get into shopkeeping again at earliest friday this week (because of some urgent non-HV events), and from now on I'll start saving up for the 500k C * I promised to pay you. I'll let you know when I'm about the send the payment, this may be within 2 or 3 weeks, but it is certain you'll get it.

thank you so much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

EDIT: * = at least 500k C, I'll pay you even more if I'll like this updated script very much

Bugfixes, optimization, and new features in 1.2.2. Changelog is in the second post.

Note that $#0 was added as-is. HVSS's $?# is implemented as $E#.

Default output was changed. See a sample EZ BBCode markup in the third post.

so basically a version more like the old HV system... like it... wont use it until 0.77 strikes...

If it weren't for the Mini Shop Helper, I don't know how I'd make 500k in just 2 days... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Anyway, that 500k I promised you + 85k (because I like your script very much) is yours now, I sent it to you in a mooglemail. Btw I think your Mini Shop Helper is better than the old HV Shop System, your script makes it easier and faster for me to update my shop and it's more convenient to use. I've got a whole lot more to say about it but I'll save that for an other day. Enjoy your hard earned credits! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Could you make a button that tag the selected items with $E# or $#?

That will be more convenient. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Possibly.

Thanks for your reply but I don't see the HV - Mini Shop Helper anywhere at userscripts.org. If it was there, it'd be very simple to install the script.

Download the ZIP file in the first post. Extract the .user.js file inside and drag it into your web browser.

You'll need to follow the 'Manual Install' instructions on that page, if you're using Chrome.

Hello! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This reply is about what I think about your script; a lot a stuff that you can look into and think about.
My intention is to help you make the script better (for me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) but maybe others also want the changes I'm thinking of.

The first obvious problem is that some stats show up as 'PMI: ' even though they're something else; like for instance Mana Conversation, Magic Accuracy etc.
The second but lesser problem is that I think some shortforms are way too long..the worst culprit by far is 'Interference' which takes up waaay too space in a row.

Below is what I think of each stat and also what I think they should be named;
$TAG $URL $NAME $PRICE $EZSTATS - duh <--- OK
$ADB - Attack Damage <--- OK
$ACB - Attack Crit Chance <--- OK
$AAB - Attack Accuracy <--- OK
$BC - Block Chance <--- The shortform 'Block: ' is too long ... 'BC' is better
$BU - Burden <--- The shortform 'Burden: ' is too long ... 'BU' is better
$DMG - Damage <--- OK
$EC - Evade Chance <--- The shortform 'Evade: ' is too long ... 'EC' is better
$IN - Interference <--- The shortform 'Interference: ' is waaay too long ... 'IN' is better
$MA - Magic Accuracy <--- The shortform 'PMI: ' makes me think it's phycial mitigation even though this is magic accurancy
$MCB - Magic Crit Chance <--- The shortform 'PMI: ' makes me think it's phycial mitigation even though this is magic critical chance
$MC - Mana Conservation <--- The shortform 'PMI: ' makes me think it's phycial mitigation even though this is mana conversation
$MDMG - Magic Damage <--- OK
$PC - Parry Chance <--- The shortform 'Parry: ' is too long ... 'PC' is better
$PM - Physical Mitigation <--- OK
$RC - Resist Chance <--- The shortform 'Resist: ' is too long ... 'RC' is better

example of all of the above:
the following (quote it);
[$PRICE] [№$#0] [$E#0] $DMG $ACB $BU $IN $MA $MC $PC [&] $NAME █

produces this:
[_____] [№0000] [OH-R-10] DMG: 25.21 Crit: 03.04 Burden: 07.00 PMI: 04.60 PMI: 09.95 Parry: 14.04 Magnificent Demonic Rapier of the Battlecaster █
[_____] [№0010] [OH-W-10] DMG: 24.79 Crit: 02.83 Burden: 02.80 Interference: 06.30 Parry: 25.01 Magnificent Demonic Wakizashi of the Nimble █

████████████████

OR ALTERNATIVELY

████████████████

If I had my way I'd say that these stats;
$ADB $ACB $AAB $BC $BU $DMG $EC $IN $MA $MCB $MC $MDMG $PC $PM $RC

the above stats; should just produce a number, without the shortforms.

Example: $RC which becomes, let's say; 'Resist: 10.45', should instead just become '10.45'.
The following is an example of what I'm trying to say;

the
[$PRICE] [№$#0] [$E#0] $PM $RC $DMG $AAB $ADB $ACB $MDMG $MC $MCB [&] $NAME █

produces this
░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▓▓╔═══╗▓▓▓▓╔══════╗▓▓▓▓╔═══╗▓▓
██╨███╨████╨██████╨████╨███╨██

[PRICE] [№0000] [LIGHT]
██╥███╥████╥██████╥████╥███╥██
██╨███╨████╨██████╨████╨███╨██
[_100k] [№0050] [L-L-20] PMI: 06.30 Resist: 10.45 Legendary Agile Leather Helmet of the Thunder-child █
[EQUIP] [№0055] [L-L-25] PMI: 09.45 Resist: 09.65 Legendary Ruby Leather Helmet of Protection █
[__20k] [№0060] [L-S-10] PMI: 03.73 Resist: 05.44 Acc: 05.32 ADB: 04.07 Crit: 01.55 Superior Shade Helmet of the Shadowdancer █
[__15k] [№0070] [L-S-20] PMI: 04.15 Resist: 14.28 Acc: 04.11 ADB: 05.78 Superior Shade Helmet of the Arcanist █
[___4k] [№0080] [L-K-50] PMI: 06.46 Resist: 07.04 Superior Cobalt Kevlar Breastplate of Stoneskin █

but instead of the above, it would be MUCH better for me if it produced the below
(this way I could easily fit all available stats in a row, which is much better usage of space);
░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░
▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒
▓▓╔═══╗▓▓▓▓╔══════╗▓▓▓▓╔═══╗▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓
██╨███╨████╨██████╨████╨███╨████████████████████████████████████

[PRICE] [№0000] [LIGHT] [PMI] [RC] [acc] [adb] [crit]
██╥███╥████╥██████╥████╥███╥██
██╨███╨████╨██████╨████╨███╨██
[_100k] [№0050] [L-L-20] 06.30 10.45 Legendary Agile Leather Helmet of the Thunder-child █
[EQUIP] [№0055] [L-L-25] 09.45 09.65 Legendary Ruby Leather Helmet of Protection █
[__20k] [№0060] [L-S-10] 03.73 05.44 05.32 04.07 01.55 Superior Shade Helmet of the Shadowdancer █
[__15k] [№0070] [L-S-20] 04.15 14.28 04.11 05.78 Superior Shade Helmet of the Arcanist █
[___4k] [№0080] [L-K-50] 06.46 07.04 Superior Cobalt Kevlar Breastplate of Stoneskin █

&

and here's an extra problem, not a big problem but still a problem;
The $E# produces numbers such as the ones below (OH-R-8, OH-R-9, OH-R-10, OH-R-11) .

[EQUIP] [№0240] [OH-R-8] DMG: 17.85 Acc: 35.13 Crit: 07.97 Exquisite Demonic Rapier of Balance █
[__90k] [№0250] [OH-R-9] DMG: 22.06 Acc: 16.32 Crit: 04.29 Exquisite Demonic Rapier of the Illithid █
[EQUIP] [№0260] [OH-R-10] DMG: 24.67 Acc: 16.94 Crit: 02.93 Exquisite Demonic Rapier of the Nimble █
[__20k] [№0270] [OH-R-11] DMG: 26.40 Acc: 18.77 Crit: 02.20 Exquisite Rapier of the Nimble █

The solution to this is that the $E# would instead produce the numbers (OH-R-08, OH-R-09, OH-R-10, OH-R-11), which would make columns look prettier.

&

I promised you in a mooglemail that by the time I've made my next million, I'm going to pay you yet another 500k. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
I also vote that your thread becomes pinned in the WTS forum; much like the now obsolete 'HV Shop System 0.6.4' thread.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback and support <3

The following changes will be in the 1.2.3 release*:
- Corrected stat display for: $MA $MCB $MC; previously displayed 'PMI' due to sloppy copy/paste work, whoops :3
- Shortened the output for: $BC $BU $EC $IN $PC $RC
- Padded $E#'s output to have at least two digits

*Updates are noted in the changelog as I make progress

Most of the output and placeholders were based on what the HV Shop System script produced. Including those long 'shortforms'.

I'll put in a 'sister' set of placeholders beginning with & that produce only raw numbers:
QUOTE
&ADB &ACB &AAB &BC &BU &DMG &EC &IN &MA &MCB &MC &MDMG &PC &PM &RC

Example markup:
QUOTE
[$#] [$E#] $DMG $ACB $BU $IN $MA $MC $PC $NAME
[$#] [$E#] &DMG &ACB &BU &IN &MA &MC &PC $NAME
-------------------

Example output:

Highlights for the 1.2.3 release:
- Fixed a bunch of unintended behavior
- Added equipment ranges data from the wiki
- Default output was modified to include said data
- Added a bunch of stuff (see the second and third posts for more detail)
QUOTE
&ADB &ACB &AAB &BC &BU &DMG &EC &IN &MA &MCB &MC &MDMG &PC &PM &RC - same as $ counterparts, but just the numbers
$SLOT - returns 1H, 2H, HE, BD, HA, LG, or FT
~ADB ~ACB ~AAB ~BC ~BU ~DMG ~EC ~IN ~MA ~MCB ~MC ~MDMG ~PC ~PM ~RC - returns Equipment ranges data in 'QMAX±0.0' format, or simply 'QMAX' if close enough (<0.1)
!ADB !ACB !AAB !BC !BU !DMG !EC !IN !MA !MCB !MC !MDMG !PC !PM !RC - returns the above, with a stat indicator prefix
~STR ~DEX ~AGI ~END ~INT ~WIS !STR !DEX !AGI !END !INT !WIS - same as above, but for PABs
I don't have a shop or run auctions, so I use the EQ Range data for quickly identifying what items to keep. Like such:

First off I'd like to point out how with you script in HV it is very convenient to type into the $PRICE or $TAG field for each piece of equipment. Just by pressing the TAB-key 2 or 3 times, the $TAG or $PRICE field is selected. This way I don't need to use the mouse when updating prices for the whole inventory. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

&

A couple of minutes ago I've updated my shop by using your 1.2.4 script. I managed to very conveniently make lists of all my equipment with just one line of code; (quote it for precisness)
[$PRICE] [№$#0] [$E#] &PM &MM &RC &EC $TAG &IN &BU &DMG &AAB &ADB &ACB &PC &MDMG &MCB $BC $MA &MC [&] $NAME █

I also found a very good usage for the $TAG -tag; I use it as a way to add space to shade and ethereal equipment that has no burden or neither burden nor interference. An example is shown below.
[___1k] [№0130] [OH-D-01] 05.60 03.50 13.37 17.39 03.43 14.01 Fine Dagger of Swiftness █
[___2k] [№0140] [OH-D-02] ████████ 18.59 35.07 05.85 11.43 Superior Ethereal Dagger of Balance █
[___1k] [№0150] [OH-D-03] ████ 02.80 16.92 18.10 02.39 13.25 10.81 MA: 03.34 Superior Dagger of the Battlecaster █
[___5k] [№0160] [OH-D-04] 04.90 03.50 16.12 16.94 04.19 19.60 Exquisite Dagger of the Nimble █

The $TAG -field only supports 8 letters, though I'd like it to support at least 9 letters. The reason for this is that if it only supports 8 letters, I have to manually add an extra letter (the █) when writing a reply in the forum to make my columns look straighter.

However, if I could type at least 9 letters or more into the tag field (in HV), the result would be following;
[___1k] [№0130] [OH-D-01] 05.60 03.50 13.37 17.39 03.43 14.01 Fine Dagger of Swiftness █
[___2k] [№0140] [OH-D-02] █████████ 18.59 35.07 05.85 11.43 Superior Ethereal Dagger of Balance █
[___1k] [№0150] [OH-D-03] ████ 02.80 16.92 18.10 02.39 13.25 10.81 MA: 03.34 Superior Dagger of the Battlecaster █
[___5k] [№0160] [OH-D-04] 04.90 03.50 16.12 16.94 04.19 19.60 Exquisite Dagger of the Nimble █

this way I wouldn't even need to manually add an extra letter (the █) to make the columns straighter, saving me a few seconds or minutes of time for every shop update I do.

&

Next suggestion I have is about the following tags;
~STR ~DEX ~AGI ~END ~INT ~WIS !STR !DEX !AGI !END !INT !WIS

These are superior to raw numbers in my opinion, because in the end whenever I look at a stat,
I try to answer the question of whether the stat is in exquisite, magnificent or legendary range.
I would have used these tags but the problem here was that the end result takes up too much space for every line.

example; this
[$PRICE] [№$#0] [$E#] ~STR ~DEX ~AGI ~END ~INT ~WIS[&] $NAME █

produces this;
[___5k] [№0000] [C-P-01] SMAX-1.2 SMAX-0.3 SMAX-1.5 SMAX-2.7 Superior Phase Cap of Fenrir █
[__12k] [№0010] [C-G-01] EMAX-0.3 EMAX-1.2 EMAX-2.4 Exquisite Charged Gossamer Gloves of the Demon-fiend █
[___8k] [№0020] [C-G-02] EMAX-0.6 EMAX EMAX-0.3 Exquisite Ruby Gossamer Gloves of the Curse-weaver █
[__50k] [№0030] [C-G-03] MMAX-1.2 MMAX-1.8 MMAX-0.6 Magnificent Onyx Gossamer Gloves of the Heaven-sent █
[___8k] [№0040] [C-G-04] EMAX-1.5 EMAX-1.8 EMAX-1.8 EMAX-1.8 Exquisite Cobalt Gossamer Shoes of the Elementalist █

the problem here is that the view seems to be littered with "MAX". There's a whole lot of "MAX" all over the place and it's not actually very helpful...upon this these are the shorter forms WITHOUT indicator prefixes.
I'd suggest shorter forms, how about the following;

LMAX could become L
MMAX could become M
EMAX could become E
SMAX could become S
FMAX could become F (I'm not sure this one or the ones below exist but anyway xD)
AMAX could become A
CMAX could become C

If it looked like that instead, the end result would be better usage of space, like for instance the following;
[___5k] [№0000] [C-P-01] S-1.2 S-0.3 S-1.5 S-2.7 Superior Phase Cap of Fenrir █
[__12k] [№0010] [C-G-01] E-0.3 E-1.2 E-2.4 Exquisite Charged Gossamer Gloves of the Demon-fiend █
[___8k] [№0020] [C-G-02] E-0.6 E E-0.3 Exquisite Ruby Gossamer Gloves of the Curse-weaver █
[__50k] [№0030] [C-G-03] M-1.2 M-1.8 M-0.6 Magnificent Onyx Gossamer Gloves of the Heaven-sent █
[___8k] [№0040] [C-G-04] E-1.5 E-1.8 E-1.8 E-1.8 Exquisite Cobalt Gossamer Shoes of the Elementalist █

It's actually the other way around, you're spoiling me... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

25-07-2013 EDIT:
the line of text I use to update whe whole shop is actually this;

[$PRICE] [№$#0] [$E#] &PM &MM &RC &EC &IN &BU $TAG &DMG &AAB &ADB &ACB &PC &MDMG &MCB $BC $MA &MC [&] $NAME █

I moved the $TAG to appear after IN and BU rather the before IN and BU...

You got it. 32 characters.

I'd suggest shorter forms, how about the following;
This notation would conflict with 'MIN' value ranges, planned for a future release. I'll revisit this later.

And a teaser for a new feature in 1.2.5:

Hi ctxl, a few seconds ago I sent you half of what I promised you ... 250k. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I couldn't wait paying you for your awesome deeds. I'll send the other 250k to you in the future...

Btw you have a banner now at the most visited thread in the whole WTS forum, thanks to wolfgirl! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

haha, thanks again pentiuminside <3 and thanks for the endorsement, wolfgirl <3

Personally, I'd have to say that HVMSH isn't ready for prime time due to one massive defect: it doesn't work with the HentaiVerse Font Engine.

Well... it does, but the equipment data portion (straight from the Equipment Comparison script) doesn't.
But then again, the EQC script doesn't support the HV Font Engine either, so uhh... shrug? ┐(´ー`)┌

Either way, more people using = more feedback = improvements, hopefully. Thanks. :3

I would have used these tags but the problem here was that the end result takes up too much space for every line.
I ran into a similar problem with just dumping all of the data for equips: looong stats would wrap onto a second line, messing up the layout.

Embedding a 1px high by 1280px+ wide transparent PNG effectively forces a minimum width and results in a horizontal scroll-bar, which preserves the intended layout.

Yesterday I had 50k...
Today I have 1300k...

I was lucky enough to sell the most expensive item in my shop. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I'll give you the other 250k ... and only because I'm so rich right now
I'll give you an extra 150k ...

Enjoy your hard earned 400k ... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) <3<3<3<3<3<3

Don't worry about that, your script is already a whole lot better than the old HV Shop System that btw as of 0.76i isn't working AT ALL... If a thread for an old defunct script is good enough to be pinned, your thread certainly is good enough as well...

Yeah I'd like to see what that looks like... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would like to say thanks and contribute my own snippet of code for others to use, i took about 3 hours of testing it all.
The only problem i encountered was when i tried to colorcode all the "$" commands, after 2 or 3 it kept breaking after the first link was processed.
Maybe i'm just dumb today or else all those calls are tearing my tags apart idk.
I also tried to make some ascii art but that takes too much time so i'll leave that for another time.

CODE
[color=#B0C4DE][color=#1E90FF][$#][/color] [$E#][/color] [b][URL=$URL]$NAME[/URL]
[color=#FFD700]「元$PRICE¥」[/b] [color=#A9A9A9]$EZSTATS[/color][/color]
[i][color=#DC143C][color=#8FBC8F]$PM $MA $MDMG $MCB[/color] $DMG $ADB $AAB $PC $ACB[/color][/i]

Example in link, i think it looks most practical and prettiest of all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif), i made it for the Fusion black forum skin so in white it looks kind of bright.
TEST
It could use some tweaking but that's up to a user's taste i guess.

If you decide to implement that 1px bar to keep the layout widescreen for people like pentium then just host it in your personal forum storage,
and maybe add an extra button/command(maybe %wide at the beginning) that links to it, should be a few kb at most i think.
