Excited but sad/frustrated. Most of my stuff for my laptop and for school will arrive today. One arrived yesterday, my desktop stuff arrives next week, a few items arrived/are arriving today. One is unknown arrival date-expected today.
Sad and frustrated because I have to buy a new power supply for my laptop. My old one broke. Luckily, I managed to find a compatible power supply from an older computer. (obviously if that breaks too, I'll be out of luck so I'd like to get a spare)
I swear, nothing made by HP in the last few years have lasted me 2 years, most break like a month after the 1 year warranty =_= A few before... though those are just lost causes since HP never fixes them for me. They just throw in random parts-which causes compatibility problems (like the time they put the wrong motherboard in-a defective motherboard from a different system known to be defective (on the plus side, they had to extend my warranty because of that due to a class action regarding the defective motherboard. On the not so plus side, I had to ship it for warranty every month until the warranty expired-literally I'd use it for two weeks and then it would be in the shop for a month cus they kept using the wrong parts and thus it failed-one time, the internal sound was not working (didn't really notice since I use headphones until the day I had to pack light and thus left the headphones behind). Then I carefully double checked the parts replaced to a list of the proper parts >.> . They told me their support was better now but... Their support wouldn't even admit that there is something wrong just kept going in loops for hours. (Actually, I think they just keep registering my computer as a different model than it actually is cus they keep trying to give me support for a different computer than the one I have...))
