rapier ain't for rent, if it was, well then I'd put in in the rental section.
Though I can tell you right away that a rapier of slaughter is the worst kind of rapier for offhand. The reason is that attack DMG shrinks to just ½ for any offhand equip. An rapier of the slaugther is only good for main hand in combination with a shield in offhand. An 1-h with a shield counts as an 1-h fighting style.
The of the balance suffix on the other hand can raise the offhand chance up to 100%.
This rapier raises my offhand chance to 97%. So if you think for a moment, the rapier of the balance suffix vastly outperforms the slaughter suffix in terms of DMG dealt...
The of the Nimble suffix is good for a rapier only if one has got really crappy equipment that ain't much for defense but yeah the parry bonus is double for offhand in DW but I don't think of it as much of an advantage. DW on the whole has much defense as it is... which is the reason the of the balance suffix is the best suffix for a rapier there is, at least that's what I think. Hopefully this was of any help.
