There will be two DLLs with the same function corresponding to the two instruction sets in the archive file. You need to put the DLL with the same instruction set in the directory of the target program according to the instruction set of the target program. If you can't figure this out, you can simply follow these rules: 1. If you are running a 32-bit operating system, you can directly choice the x86 DLL. 2. If you are running a 64-bit operating system, except for D○M Viewer 3.1.9 and later, you need to choice x64 DLL, otherwise you should still choice x86 version. After placing the DLL, open the book to be extracted normally, and a message box will display the extracted content(s)'s output path. The following are known targets that can be handled:DLs○te Viewer: 1.0.4.2 - 1.1.8 D○M Reader: 1.3.0.10a DM○ Viewer: 3.1.0 - 3.1.16 Download:[ anonfiles.com] DL1[ mega.nz] DL2Please stop using viewerrip, and don't use "Duplicate" as the reason to expunge newer galleries with original images. You saved my ass! Many thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm really going crazy here. My tech illiterate brain has still been unable to figure out how to extract protected pdf files from dlsite. I tried using the dlsite viewer, but it can't read pdf files. I tried using pdfimages.exe, but it says "Permission Error: Copying of images from this document is not allowed.". Not sure what I should do, but any help is appreciated. I did ask 6 months ago, but I never got a reply. Is there someone I can dm for help?

if you can view the pdf normally in a normal pdf viewer it's totally an arbitrary restriction. I think I've removed that "protection" using pdftk ( the non-java version) EDIT!!! You want the java version. [ gitlab.com] https://gitlab.com/pdftk-java/pdftk/-/releases[ gitlab.com] https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/5024297/...3/pdftk-all.jarCODE java -jar pdftk.jar input_file.pdf output output_file.pdf (that's the literal word "output" as the second argument to pdftk). If it worked, you'll see something like (in my test just now): CODE WARNING: The creator of the input PDF: 1973_01.pdf has set an owner password (which is not required to handle this PDF). You did not supply this password. Please respect any copyright. After doing that, maybe pdfimages will work on your outputted PDF file. It did for me. If there's a "user password" too, and you know it, you can add CODE user_pw my-password-goes-here after the output filename in the above command. If you want to send it to me I can try to extract it for you, too. If it's a standard PDF, that is. I did this unprotection trick while I was removing watermarks from a bunch of "National Lampoon" magazine PDF files. I've also done it on a textbook for linux certification for a colleague at my last workplace. PDF hacking can be kind of neat. This post has been edited by Moonlight Rambler: Aug 13 2024, 06:07

Hm, might be encrypted in some way i'm not familiar with. Does it have a password you need to view it?

cypherguard pdf (which dlsite uses) is a bit more sophisticated than usual pdf encryption. I have yet to find any resources on how to decrypt it, best solution i could come up with was using screenshots, which sucks obviously.
Use dlsite viewer if available, otherwise screenshotting might be your only option for now.

I got the files extracted. These were seemingly plain PDF files. "PDF document, version 1.7 (zip deflate encoded)". I could view them in xpdf normally. The zip files the pdf's were in were annoying because they were using shift-jis encoded filenames, but I got past that hurdle as well. They used AES256 protection, apparently; qpdf was able to unprotect them and then I used pdfimages as usual to grab the image files out. I sent links with the images back to them. pdftk-java apparently is too outdated to handle this form of protection.

Debating whether I need the Knife for a download (possibly a series of downloads) on D◯M: I recently purchased a bunch of CG/comic sets from an artist who will release a retail version of a given work and then continually update it with subsequent additional bonuses from their Fanbox/Fantia. All the images are bog-standard JPG, but the version control slips in places making my inquiry necessary - the problem archive was updated to v5.1 in the D◯M desktop viewer, but the direct download link (unencrypted .zip) has only been updated to a v4.1 revision dating from four months earlier.
What's the simplest way about getting the currently player-locked images - download the standalone viewer, equip the Knife, and just read/copy the JPGs as if they were ebook pages? The work page on desktop (Firefox) sports a "view in App" button below the download button, but clicking it doesn't solicit me to download said App.
EDIT: Found a copy of Viewer and attempted the above, but got no additional output. Unsure if the Knife just doesn't work on Viewer 3.1.23, or if it doesn't work on just JPGs rather than epub extensions.
ALSO EDIT: Knife effectiveness rendered irrelevant due to finding the Viewer-downloaded files in C:\Users\[user]\Documents\MyD◯MBooksDocs\[account hash]\[SKU].zip...only to now be faced with having to batch-upsize them to the artist's original resolution and/or source such from their contemporary Fanbox/Fantia entries.

I did not want to meddle with installing a viewer or a program with a source that's not widely used / known. For dlst I ended up creating a python web scraping script for the online viewer of DLSite: [ pastebin.com] https://pastebin.com/Lbc6fPXU(not well-tested but perhaps someone wants to use it) DLsite will serve scrambled jpg, I don't think there's a way to get the real unscrambled source file on the web version? The script will extract the images as png but will have the jpg artifacts of the served images. This post has been edited by mindfaQ: Sep 10 2024, 18:11

QUOTE(Viredae @ Aug 19 2017, 02:23) Hey, I always seem to have the issue where the first page is completely jumbled, looking something like the attached image. I'm using the DLSite viewer, by the way. DMM and DLsite are highly protected that is not easy to extract the images they have improved many times to prevent

QUOTE(rurumax @ Jun 3 2024, 13:07) Unlocking dmme is very easy Read this entire thread you will find the answer
If you don't have a PC... buy one. You can buy a used laptop for around $100, and you don't need high specs.
do you know how to unlock dlsite? thank you
