I sort of get it, due to the specific topic at hand, but you are knowingly gatekeeping, and I hate gatekeepers. Would have been better to not say anything.

Seems to be OKish however the file sizes are bloated and some detail is lost since this script is what i am assuming is ripping from the canvas.

No, this was on me. What happened was my viewer when opened was on like page 20 or whatever, so when I actually had the ripper going I had to back track and was fumbling the book so to speak as it was snatching everything it saw.

Note, make sure you have single page view and you're on page 1. Also make sure you "flip" accordingly through and don't backtrack. Otherwise it's fine for the most part if you're looking for a quick fix.

Were you using a different one? I tried the one that works on Firefox only but I wasn't sure how to fully operate it.

It works more like a manually "screen shot" rather than a actual decryption like what ghost trick will do. It creates a picture of the page you currently on at the said gallery resolution (i.e. most time melonbooks gives out at 2024 height for a doujinshi), if you jump to a different page then go back, it will create pages in the order of your viewing. And it dups when you view the same page again.

I don't think we have better resolution for that since genl left us.

genl can do it, but it seems they are inactive for now.
I hope it's temporal, though.

This is the 2nd time I heard the same thing. I noticed genl has not logged in a while but he mentioned he would update his post if he stopped decrypting files.

Is people assuming that since he has not logged in he most likely is inactive? Or if he actually mentioned going in hiatus, could you tell me more details?

It is very dangerous to hand over your account to someone else even for a moment, so it is better to quit.
The viewer is frequently maintained, so I think it's a good idea to try accessing it after a while.

yeah i guess anyone that's not genl is untrustworthy. i can't seem to login prolly because d*site is blocked here.

Any DMM site ripper that works for the in browser viewing? Or one that does not have PC requirements for the downloaded file.

DLSite Viewer has updated to 1.1.9, and no longer includes version.dll which can be replaced. So it seems that Ghost Trick no longer works in the latest verision.

Can anyone point me to an older installer for 1.1.8, or will it force you to update anyways? Any other suggestions for removing DRM from dlst files is very appreciated.

Yep thanks I did google pretty thoroughly before posting, but wasn't able to find v1.1.8 hosted anywhere. My preference is to stay as current as possible. Since software.informer.com only has v1.1.4 I was hoping someone on the forum would have an old installer for 1.1.8 on their drive or something like that. I too always keep the latest version and check every time if version.dll is available.
Since every inch of my environment was working fine, I deleted the backup of the old version and installed the latest version.
But if you are right and the version.dll is no longer working, then for my peace of mind, it's venerable problem for me.

I would like to ask you to check again carefully.
Or by someone else. Please let me confirm that it is working correctly for someone else too.

If I am the only one whose latest version is working properly, there must be some serious reason.
